He's name is Jeffrey Herlings 100%

He had a bit of an answer when he got informed by the pits that jefrrey was closing in.

first jeffrey closed in with 3-4 seconds per lap and later with 2-3 seconda per lap.

reason why herlings couldn't make it happen was because he had a smaller break and lost a lot of energy with riding from last to 2nd.

You are retarded when you name cairoli sandmaster
Tony was the better guy today, sad for the fans that we have not seen a real battle, Herlings vs Roczen's battle in 2011 GP Lommel was epic

Have you watched Barcia ride?

Yeah, he crashed in training, free practice, in the first moto, and about 25 huge moments of near crashes in the final one. He looked pretty chaotic to me. Oh well lives up to the name wild child at least. The bambam just made him eat dirt.

To be honest, Barcia did beat all the beatable guys in moto 3, that to me is pretty impressive. Herlings and Cairoli are on another planet in the sand. But beating guys like Desalle, Nagl and Paulin on this track is simply good.

James would've crashed his brains out(this is coming from a huge JS fan) and RV would've done really good but I don't think he would've had anything for AC or Herlings!

i thought barcia was amazing today, he rode with great heart. infact you could visably tell the guy was putting everything he had and a wee bit more into the job today. and you can't ask for anymore than that.
imo he was the best US rider today.

He sure was, I was a little dissapointed with Dungey, I sure was expecting him to do much better!

I think any reasonable person would have to agree there. The way he rode that last moto proved he was podium material and was actually the single best performance from team USA today imo - surprising to me that it ultimately came from Justin. He looked like he gave up racing JH and AC and just worried about himself - and it worked.

Fucking right! I thought when Paulin passed him he was honna fade but he blew back by. Sick ride, can't wait to see Barcia outdoors now.

Great observation. Perhaps he learned from the quali Herlings was on another level, just rode his race.

If we're using this one moto to determine who the "new sand king" is, you could make the argument for Cairoli, as he won the race, but I don't know why you would want to (unless you have something against Herlings, which, let's be honest, you probably do). Herlings did get a bad start, yes, and that's part of the race, BUT he gave his good gate to his teammate and then crashed off the start. Then he caught Cairoli from waaay back, much sooner than I thought he would. AC had the advantage of being able to pace himself the whole race and then turned it on at the end -- Herlings was charging the whole way and got held up by lappers a bit. And if it's true that Herlings was riding with bruised ribs and maybe a concussion from being run over at the start, then I think it's pretty clear who the real sand man is.

I was pumped for Cairoli, though. Who wasn't? He was barely talked about and he killed it.

JS would have placed himself in the Emergency Room at the local hospital. The track would have bitten him in the ass.

RV would have had something, but not enough to beat Cairoli and Herlings.

AC was awesome today.

That being said, Herlings was clearly the fastest rider of the weekend.

This 18 year old, ran down a 6 time World Champion (20secs+ when he got into second), while crashing in the start, ran over by another bike, bruising his ribs.

Oh, he had the full 45 minutes of rest between motos, compared to Cairoli's 1.5/2 hr rest.

That fact that Herlings caught him from almost dead last is pretty phenomenal.
Did look like Tony was laying up waiting for him though, when Herlings got there, AC dropped the hammer for the last 4-6 laps...
