Well we have been here since Wednesday and decided that the Norco Hills area is where we are going to be. We found two homes that were perfect but they were already had deposits for potential leases, that ended up going through this weekend which is a bummer.

Anyhow seems like that area has a lot of houses with a big enough lot for trailers/RV's etc... that is hard to find. So we will head back to Kentucky and stalk the internet for new listings over the next month.

Thanks for the help guys!

I do pool service in the city of Irvine and there is no way I could stand to live in the same city with the douche bags that live there. You're better option would be to live just a couple miles away from Irvine in the city of Huntington Beach!.. But, that does leave you about an hour away from the tracks. One good thing about living here in HB is that when you do go to the tracks in the morning the traffic is going the opposite direction.
Douche Bags? Ha ha ha! Yeah OK, I can go with that.

Why even move down here? Do you realize how expensive it is? Find a nice place up the 15 around Victorville. (NOT IN Victorville) have your own track and be 30 min away from the rest. Yeah, its nice to live here. It also cost a shitload. If I didn't work in OC I sure wouldn't live here.

The freeways - its a crap shoot with the 91 being the coup de gras of all cluster's you could ever imagine. All directions. If your are going to the tracks, its better, but you will want to gouge your eyes out with dull spoons at the stupid shit people do on the road these days. I credit all the people that move here that pull the bone-head maneuvers.

Just my thoughts on it. Rentals in and around Irvine are going for $1800-$3000 a month. Housing is a real problem around here and the landlords have you by the short and curlys. The complex I live in just went up $200 a month and told the residents, don't like it? Move. They raised the rent $150 last year. They are filling the units as fast as they empty.

I thought you lived in Bishop why the hell would you ever want to move from Bishop. I could go to Lake Sabrina every day...of the summer.

#1 I'd make sure I found a place with a very secure and nice garage where I wouldn't mind spending time keeping my bikes maintained. Once you know what that costs I guess you will know where to look. It wouldn't be very fun trying to work on your shit out of an apartments storage shed. Wink

another vote for Canyon Lake...you want to stay off the 91fwy as much as possible...that freeway is a miserable mess pretty much anytime of the day....Canyon Lake is about 10min away from Elsinore and about 15min from Perris....

Economic reasons. Let's just say it wasn't a "Want." I miss being able to ride from the house.
