Lets please stop all the excuse bullshit right here and now!
I'm not some chest pounding American here ( it's why I've stayed out of most of these threads ).......but the excuses from both sides of the pond are getting old. It's a friggin' race.....the biggest race this planet has to offer and it only happens once a year!
So quit saying " But it is just one race.....it doesn't prove anything "..........Bullshit!
If we win...we win....if we lose , .....we lose! This is why we race this event! It why YOUR country races this event!
No excuses! I see guys saying how the Americans will get hammered over there........and actually see this same bullshit talk , year after year. Then....if we win..."It didn't matter....it was only one race".
We can play it both ways.......if we lose I guess us Americans can say "big deal......it was just one race....doesn't matter".......right?
On the other side of the coin.....the Americans who downplay Herlings sand skill are either out of the loop about this sport , or just plain stupid.. I expect guys like him , AC , Big Ken and a few others to be running towards the front. Give credit where credit is due!
God damn......this race seems to divide this board more than any event all year. And for a race that " Doesn't matter".......some of you dudes sure do get your panties in a wad! Sheeesh! Lets just enjoy the race for what it is and let the cards fall where they may!

I suppose some of the posts are just good natured ribbing, but it wears thin. Let's just hope for some good racing, with everyone getting to ride whole motos so the end result is unquestionable. (You know, the "Herlings WOULD'VE spanked everyone if he hadn't crashed out the first corner of the second moto" as a hypothetical exmple.) Yes. It DOES matter. It's why the race is held.

Unfortunately.......I don't feel much honor in brow beating the other teams when they don't win. Picking on some of the posters here is well deserved.....but not slamming on the other teams. Never agreed with that.
It doesn't matter who wins............because the winning side will verbally destroy the other side.......and the losing teams will just say it didn't matter. I'd like to see what some of the guys here would say if America lost. Bring out the true colors of some of the people here.
