Kawasaki is having a hell of a year...They have won every overall in both classes, and now, Stewart, Ferry, and Villopoto have been chosen for the MXoN.

Hopfully they come up with a really cool ad campaign, they have real reason to celebrate.

Anyone have some cool old ads from Yamaha's days of dominance in the 70's, or Honda's in the 80's?

Were Yamaha and Honda this dominant? I wasn't around back then so I wouldn't know, but I didn't think a brand had ever had this good of a season!

If Stewart's new Yamaha contract starts before the MXDN, he should ride a YZ125 and kick a bunch of 250F ass.

They usually put out a press release on the MXDN team. That has not been done yet. I'll 100% believe it at that point and time.

You are right about Kawasaki, but they have not been winning anymore than usual. They were better last year. The one difference is that last year Stewart was in SX and not MX. Kawasaki did a lot of podium sweeps in the "Lites" class last year. They have not done that yet this year though.

The info above is correct. The team is Stewart (MX1), Villopoto (MX2), and Ferry (Open).

That is cool. How come they have not done a press release yet GuyB?

I posted one that Kawasaki sent out in the News section on the homepage hours ago. I guess you missed it.

Yeah, I missed that. I had wrist reconstruction surgery yesterday and I am all hopped up on pain medication, so I am a little slow tonight. They usually post that stuff on Racer X as well.

Maybe I missed something, but Alessi should get that spot in the open class. I like Ferry a lot, and he was huge last year. But it's a priveledge that only a few people ever get. 800 should be there. (did they decide he was not coming back to race?)

Kawasaki is making a huge mistake by letting Stewart walk.

I thought L&M hasn't locked in what brand of bike they will use yet.... maybe Kawasaki is brilliant. If L&M ends up on Kawai's let them pay Stewarts salary. Then they have RV and JS!

Very true... besides, James and that Kawasaki just work as a package, although there is no doubt that he could win on anything. My I believe that L&M will probably stick with Yami

Sure they did, I can remember getting a teflon coating on my cylinder back in the 70's.

Big selling point, better compression, neat blue color, didn't have to replace rings every other week.........................
