anything on what happened to Alessi 2nd moto??? bike?? him?? I gotta say seein that, very very good that the man is savvy enough to know the downside of givin MA a shot with so much on the line............especially at a track like Lommel.........if there was a significant reason I'll be happy to eat my words...........but 2 days and nothing noted........?!??!?

Bike changes didn't work between motos. Oh yeah, Rattray is a beast and so is Dungey.

Heard tony got rid of the engine and suspension guy and hes doing all the work himself.

WOW............if that's true that's a reason!!............ and Mike I apologize.............and just another reason why no matter what he does as long as Tony is involved with Mike's program............in any type of manager capacity...........the guy will never go anywhere and realize his potential.......very very sad as he has been on fire this year..........

Yes I have it on good authority it's actually Tony under the helmet. If you look closely you can see his potbelly when his jersey comes untucked

yeah for sure could be bullshit but thought I'd play along...............hell with Tony involved, and that whole program, anything at all is possible whether it seems legit, good, bad, or otherwise............

in any event whatever happened sure was a giant red flag for me that almost anyone of the top 5 factory guys was a better pick for MXdN than the Alessi/MC team..............

sad as I think Mike is as strong as he's ever been............just not in or on what his talent and hard work deserves........IMO, your results may vary............

I don't know that it's Tony. At least not single handedly. Mike tried ditching dad for a year and didn't have very good results. I think what we're seeing is Alessi is having the first full MX season in a couple of years and you don't beat a guy like Dungey in your first full year back in awhile. Alessi is progressing and has been able to keep Dungey closer throughout the motos lately. He just needs to keep focused on progressing and forget about Dungey. Stay healthy in SX and come back healthy for 2013.

As for the MXDN team, how did Barcia do at Southwick?

LOL. They made a few suspension changes between motos and it didn't work. Got all beat up in the 2nd half of moto. Mike said as much in the Racer X interview. You have to remember, Mike hasn't finished an outdoor season in a while, especially on the Zook, and don't have any base settings to work off of. Factory Suz is not helping with that info either.
And No, Tony is not doing the suspension and motors. That's pretty Funny though, but he doesn't have time for that.

Mike has had problems all year of his bike bouncing too much when the track gets rough. I would assume this is a side effect of running the stock suspension just valved. He doesn't even have A-kit on his bike I don't think?

Alessi finished 2nd overall. Dungey and his factory KTM was faster than all the 450f riders.

Mikey was also the only other rider besides Dungey, on the 450's and 250's to go under 2:00. He had a bad suspension set up moto 2. He said no excuses and he couldn't capitalize on Dungey's issues.
