Dayum dude I didnt mean to hit a nerve...We had him on the clock @ 1.49 but that isnt official...my bad. It said officially he ran a 1.52

I did not see anyone make that jump like RC...I saw a couple try it and run off the track or off the side of the step up...if you have video of someone else doing it like RC i would like to see it.

Yes I may wear blinders at times and I loved the good ole day...its a shame you missed them.

I was just reading an article in September's issue of RacerX and it mentioned Ricky Carmichael as the wildcard for the MX3 ride.

Looks better if you just put RC if you can't spell.

You didn't hit a nerve, I am just arguing my point. I don't personally have any video, I used my eyes. I have saw some videos and pics from different places, including Vurb I believe, that show others doing it. I honestly don't want to search through all of the videos.

I didn't miss those days, I just realize that times/people change. Like I said, I have the utmost respect for RC and everything he has done for the sport, but those days, unfortunately, are over. If you live in the past, you will undoubtedly miss the present.

How much pressure was on Ricky to cut lap times in the low 50's? This more of an "eyeball test" than stopwatch measurement. Did RC "look" like he was riding aggressively? In fact, other than a cameo by RR, was any pressure applied to RC the entire weekend?

Trying to avoid good ole days syndrome, but we're not talking about Fro or Ryno returning to LL. This is RC, the most dominant rider in the history of motorcycle racing. Your body might gain a few pounds, and maybe the wife & kids enter the picture, but that dude knew how, and knows how, to go fast. Very fast.

They time every lap he turns with the transponder. And you apparently timed him with a calender seeing as you are three seconds off. Which time do you think I believe?

RC is the GOAT! With that said he is RETIRED! And he also is in no way shape or form ready to suddenly step back in to the arena with the current guys. Just because he was able to put together a little program and go ride the 25+ class at LL's does not mean he is suddenly back anywhere remotely close to the kind of mindset and physical shape he was 5 years ago. Let's just pick from our current crop of young stars and let it be... I think that between Dungey, Allessi, Barcia, Bagget and Tomac we will be just fine.

Odd not sure why it wouldn't have gone through, I just asked what it was you were refering to when you said I flamed out and said goodbye? If you check my history Idon't recall having done either. I have been known to poke the hornets nest every now and then.

Are you mistaking me for someone else?
