VIDEO: RC's First Moto at the Ranch This Week

RC is the man plain and simple. A true icon. I wonder if his kids ride at all......I would imagine that the boy at the very least has to have some interest in it??

RC just epitomizes motocross. It's so cool to see him back on the bike, racing and having fun. He's a class act. Admittedley, I was not a fan from 01-04. Hated that he took Jeremy down, but after realizing how hard the guy worked and how much heart he had, I became a huge fan from 05 on. Good dude, RC is.

Been out at the ranch myself so it was really cool to come back to the hotel and see this. I was astonished by how many people came out just to watch RC, and then the bonus on Andrew Matusek's great ride and speech... That was a top-ten all-time moment at Loretta Lynn's.

Excellent video Woz!

Excellent video, great to see RC just enjoy the sport without the pressure to be the GOAT.

Sorry if it was posted in another thread, but what is the story behind Andrew Matusek?

I can recall the name somewhat, but do not recall anything about what happened to him or how he came back to the sport? Sure was an emotional moment for him and those watching his podium interview.

When is the #4 up for grabs? I remember them retiring it for a set number of years, but is it now available? I can't imagine anyone having the balls to run it yet but would be awesome to see RC come out and do a Brown/Dowd thing to keep it for a few years longer.

So true. I was one of them, not full on hater, but not a fan. Then somewhere around 80 wins or something, he just wore me down..Laughing Laughing He matured a lot and became a true ambassador of the sport. He always had pretty good interviews and gave the other guys credit.

IMO now, he is among the worlds elite athletes. He is in the same light as a Jordan, Tiger Woods, Armstrong, etc.
Cheaters? Jordans cool but not sure about Woods who was cheating his SWEDISH wife. And Armstrong going down as the whole cheating cyclesport. RC may be the GOAT but when lapping everybody to 2nd place again kind if? my warninglamps turn on red. 38 other best US, world athletes lazy, stupid and has no talent at all........still makes me wonder. But he rode good att LL for sure. Everytime in history when someone outclass everybody sooner or later they go down. Not Alexander Karelin thou that had normalsize parents but become the worlds GOAT heavy-weight wrestler.Laughing Laughing (Google him and laugh)

That's what people said about #2 and MC... Villopoto seems to be doing just fine dealing with that.

Epic vid man. So good to see. Glad to see Ricky racing again. He did say back in 1996 that he would. "Yeah, I wanna come back and race Lorretta Lynns after my Pro Career" Terrafirma 3. Thats definitely funny about his kids, his comment about his kids asking why everyone knows his name and talks to him. Got a giggle from that. Also, great to see it drew a crowd as well. Hearing the crowd cheering and horns blowing as he went past was awesome.

RC winning is cool, but the guy that finished 2nd seems like he might be the real story here. He went from "you will never ride again" to beating RC to the first corner and finishing 2nd to him in a moto. That had to be a tough journey.

Andrew's a stand up dude. If you meet him and realize his work ethic and drive and hear his back story it's amazing. I am definitely a RC fan, but I feel like that spot shoulda been Andrew's.
