That's amazing. Tore it on April 21, 2012.
Anyone know when he actually had the surgery?

I've heard a little about the how the new procedure cuts down the post op trauma but whats the secret to getting the graft fully stuck in half the time?

lol, James was killing them on an underpowered bike, and lost exactly ONE moto straight up in his entire 125 MX career and was 2 seconds a lap faster on an underpowered bike!!!! Love to see BB try and track Bubba down or RV down with 15th place start, the only guy to win no matter how bad the starts were was Bubba on a 125. BTW on 2008 RV won from GH moto 2 all the way to Washougal Moto 2 I think he won 16 straight Motos and in 7 of the motos had faster times than Bubba on his 450.

I don't think a popped off chain and running out of gas is because of an underpowered bike... And don't you think Weimer might be doing better because almost all of the top guys are out? Please think carefully before you respond.

Exactly! Your knee can feel great but the graft is still not fully mended. Maybe they came up with some new surgical glue. I'm sure he'll be wearing one of the best knee braces though.

Steel City last year was the best you're ever gonna get at proving who's faster. One thing for sure the racing doesn't get any better than when you have a healthy RV RD CR and JS. No disrespect for Trey but he just hasn't been in it long enough.

LOL Trey is on the list of guys who stopped CP377 that list includes the great Ryan Dungey
Canard is definitely there speed wise he came off an injury and posted the fastest lap time in practice then backs it up with leading half the moto and wrapping up a 3rd against CR RV RD.............Keep telling yourself that Red Heads are not the best thing to put two legs over a Dirt ScooterWink

Maybe but we dont have much of a sample, since he cant stay on the bike, to go by. And in the lites class he didnt beat them much. Trey is the nicest guy out there, dont get me wrong. But he's going the way of Hepler fast

CB I have to agree that the Ryans are very close in speed.Circumstances with both riders affected the outcome
of all the races including the dnf failure of the Suzuki team. I think one fact that never gets brought up is that as they
went into the Washougal round of the nationals with 5 overalls and 10 motos left on the season, RV held a "1" point
lead over RD that he never relinguished, RV and his team did what it needed to win the championshiip and so we
can't pretend that the dnf cost Dungey the title.

The second moto at Southwick def didnt help either. Ryan was a deserving champ dont get me wrong, he def didnt start the yr on point and sorted out all his hickups to take the title. I personally cant wait to see him back out there. I think we were all hoping for a replay of the 2011 outdoor battles they had

Lets also not forget RV didn't have to win pala. But my memory tells me poto passed dungey a couple times in the first moto and then pulled away. All when he didn't have to and he just cruised in the second moto. I like both riders myself

Like CB I'm a RD fan, but you hit the nail on the head there Uncleof2, RV did what he needed to do when it came down to crunch time. They swapped at Washougal but RV took control at Unidilla, then at Southwick RD had a chance to get back to 1 point down but we all know what happened there. After that RD needed to win out the last 4 motos, but against RV thats not likely and RV proved why. Ryan Villopoto is the 2011 MX champion and he earned it. They (the Ryans) are the best in the sport right now, I have no doubt RV will be up to that level again when he returns.

I like them both too. Obviously I am biased to Dungey but how can you not cheer for RV? Polar opposites style wise where RD is smooth as hell and sometimes doesnt look like he's going fast. Meanwhile RV looks like he's going mach 5 out there. I think I would have rather seen those two battle all summer and have Dungey lose than have these runaways every weekend
