wilson, barcia, and baggett are all the same age and grew up in the same amateur classes together. while eli was always an age group below.

I would say one thing that is "up" with Roczen, is his frustration

if (yeah yeah if ifs) but if he came over last year he'd have the red plate with the same finishes he's been getting.... maybe,
I dunno,.... shut up..

it's just all those other riders (Baggett, Tomac, Barcia) are completely different than they were last year.. baggett less so, but still different
they seem to have learnt more in that year (last year) than they did in the 10 years of racing or so prior

I don't have an excuse for how Kenny is going cause he doesn't need one, he's just going up against 3 of the worlds best that are going as good as they've ever gone

*to clarify three of the worlds best, not the three best in the world.. it's motocross we'll never have that answer no matter how many threads are started

This year there are 3 guys who are faster and now a 4th. If it weren't for Baggett, Barcia and Tomac, he would be dominating the series and would have a SX title as well. His lifestyle and training methods probably wouldn't be questioned and his move wouldnt be an issue. He's run with the likes of them,and beaten them before,no reason not to again,personally I'm the same as a lot of those who look at him and see something missing,I've most likely seen his every FIM and AMA race and seen boy at his best,which isn't where he's at now the but that's my opinion,I'm glad 22 and RC are thinking the same,hats off to him for what he's doing,he was arguably better last year when he was going back and forth doing SX,he had no pressure and was always based at home,the pressure this year is huge after rides like the MXdN etc from this side to see how he gets on over there and that side to see how a top Euro gets on over there

These guys get it,maybe he needs someone like them in his corner?

Kenny really is putting a lot of pressure on himself. I really feel for him. He is always apologizing to the fans, etc. for not winning. Seems like he is carrying the pressure of personal performace and something beyond that, maybe he felt he should be the foreign rider that was going to show the AMA boys how its done. Anyway, I'd like to see him come back from vacation with the joy for racing that he showed earlier in the year.

I'm with you 100% on that DKG. Personally.....I think he is doing fine......a very fine job indeed for his first time over here! I know that kid has more speed in the bank.....but this whole scene is new to him. I think he's a little shell shocked.

He seems to put a lot of pressure on himself. He's just a young kid and has his entire future ahead of him.......enjoy what you're doing right now and let things mature a little bit. He'll be just fine. I'm sure Roger can understand this as well.....so I think most of the pressure is coming from Kenny himself.....even if Roger put out that comment the other day about his and Musquin's training........I think Roger gets it.
