Hey, I love JS7, and have an orange 525 I am going to spend the afternoon on in about an hour, so I am just happy watching the first live stream race.

In the tweet section, DV12 had tweet about how determination and blah, blah guy trumps social media guy. So RD5 owned JS7 yesterday. How would the racing be in the big class if JS7 wasn't there, you might as well go mow the lawn.

Ironically, DB said that DV12 had too much $ to put in the super hard work, so don't throw stones. And to his credit, DV12 started to build a fan base by using the computer and social media.

I always kinda liked DV12 because he was a huge Bradshaw fan, me too. But what did Bradshaw win, one 125 championship? I don't care, the dude went for it. JS7 is the same, but has tons of championships and can crush people with his wallet.......jealousy?

Maybe JS7 isn't as young and hungry as Dungey these days, so what. Still love the guy. I drove 2000 miles round trip to TO hoping to see him. The only thing that saved the disappointment was the ME pitparty, it was fun! The Speed people, especially Erin worked very hard, and I wanna thank the pro's for coming out for autographs. RV walked right by the autograph line without acknowleding one person, no one crapped on him, je ne comprende pas?

Tweeting is one of the down falls of society IMO, we have the attention span of a gnat. If you are going to tweet though, say something informative or funny (I liked Canard's, dude has a sense of humour). They only scroll "insider" tweets, so instead of crapping on your fellow former pro's, say something like "I haven't seen a pumpkin move that fast since the one I threw at the kids burning poo on my step Hallowe'en, or something like that.

The window for all sports figures is small. Nobody dominates forever. Ex pro's should know that better than anyone.

Anyway, this old fart weekend warrior is going to check his tire pressure, adjust the chain, and RIDE before the Monday morning desk chaining,

Professionals, keep it professional.

DV wasn't slamming JS. He just said RD showed what hard work does. That he trains his a$$ off and doesn't waste time online....

Uncalled for? You just described about 75% of what I see on Twitter. Or here. Smile

The good part about the Internet is that you get to see everyone's random thoughts.

The bad part about the Internet is that you get to see...

Here's what I got out of that.
"I drove 2000 miles round trip to see the guy".
You ARE aware we have a mode of travel known as AIRCRAFT, right? Following that would be what we know as a CAB, from the AIRPORT, to the Rogers Center. I know you folks take life pretty easy down on the east coast, but wow. Woohoo Silly

I more enjoyed his tweet linking Lance Armstrong's book.

Actually I've been flying quite a bit, between Winnipeg and London, work related. We don't have the DHS Nazis like you do, so that's not an issue. Plus I can reserve my seat with mondo legroom (I'm 6'6") for 15 bucks on the website. So what were you referring to? Oh btw, the flight is only 2 hrs 10 minutes.

So when Janes was winning would Dv say that he was working harder than RD?

I knew this post would go over like a lead balloon, that's o.k.. I drive 2000 miles (1000 miles each way) to watch the TO SX because plane tickets are expensive, and I have a family and bike habit. Most of us in Atlantic Canada don't have great jobs, I am fortunate to have a decent one.

Comparing full paragraphs to twitter mumble jumble isn't a good comparision. Next time I watch the live stream, I am going to turn off the twitter feed, maybe I'll tape over it, ha. There is nobody tweeting anything that I can't already see...I don't get it.

The reason I knew it would go over like a lead balloon is because too many pro's have people hanging off their nuts. Hey, if JS7 or any other pro says something negative about another pro, they should be ashamed of themselves, especially if they are not "in the game" anymore. More than anyone else, especially keyboard jockeys, they should know how hard pro MX is and the risks involved. I do love JS7's riding, but he and Chad do not show much class towards each other either, it is getting old and has handed the Ryan's a ton of money at times.

Alessi was classy on the podium today, good for him. Oh goodness, sorry, didn't mean to say anything nice.

Drtbykr, I'd like to post the opinion that you should shut the fuck up. Is posting that ok with you? If not, please let me know. You're our censor.

If a pro doesn't have anything good to say, an astute observation or something funny, they should shut up.

Leave the idiot posts for the keyboard jockeys who are so brave and wise behind their keyboards!
