Got to say that I am really impressed with Mike's Podium interviews. He's a straight shooter in his speeches and represents his team and the sport well. So nice to get to hear more from him than the way his situation is portrayed on Inside the outdoors. And I am not criticizing that show, great show, just nice to see the and hear more of Mike.

YAAAA!!! And, you're fucking welcome, Mike Alessi. I really like the fact that he always thanks the fans. For all his shortcomings, that kid gets the PR side of things!

I have to agree with you guys.....Mikes speech today was really good. Sounded Humble and determined at the same time. I'm glad he's doing well this year.....the dude works hard.

Currently the 2nd best interview in American Motocross behind Windham. He answers questions asked, puts some thought into it, and acts like a human being instead of a robot. I changed the channel after watching yet another Blake Baggett podium interview, they're horrible.

Great work on and off the track. This sport has a big problem giving credit to 2nd-40th place. Proud to be a fan of Mike Alessi.

Yes, he does look defeated, just like the rest of us 24 billion rider's behind Dungey.

I'm a big Alessi fan. He's a very nice kid that rides his ass off. He needs some factory suspension bad though.

If Alessi just keeps riding consistently that next level of riding he's looking for will click in for him. Being patient sucks but I think he still can ride right up there with Dungey. Just keep working on the bike setup and maybe Suzuki will throw in a little more support and tech advice and I have confidence that Mike can pull off an overall win or two.

Well....what are ya gonna do Bobby? If he keeps kickin' the shit out of all the other lites riders.....he should start getting better on the interviews......since he seems to be up on the box a lot. I don't agree with "Ambassador" point .....because Blake seems to do a lot of his talking on the track. Just because you're fast.....doesn't mean you have to be a great speaker. And actually I don't think Blake's is all that bad once he finishes all the sponsors list.......he's just doing what he's paid to to do.

Watched Mike over the years , He's got the speed but I think he is a Non-aggressor. To be a winner you can't be afraid to stick a wheel to someone. Nice guys finish last.

Good post man I sort of said that in the other thread, the longer he stays healthy the faster he will get, won't happen over night.

*Not sure how anyone could say he looks defeated, anyone who follows moto knows what he has been through, a lot more than other riders that aren't out there anymore. Facts are facts man, sorry your comment was in poor taste and nuts considering he is second best in the world right now.
