I think the problem here is that Grant is kind of under the radar these days. No one seems to care what he does. Not sure why this is and it's a shame, but not a surprise considering the way the industry and fans are these days. It's a cruel sport in more ways than one.

He is a rockstar on a bike when he is focused and healty... I know there are alot of very hard training riders to beat to get up in that top 5 spot... Jake Mike Andrew are on very good programs, Nico is doing amazing.. tough to get up there unless your balls to the wall fit and healthy right now i guess.

Fans can't be expected to follow and pamper EVERYONE on the line. How much interest do you show in the 35th place guy? They are drawn to the action. Think thats pretty natural. Sure Grant doesn't follow mid pack racers or competitors in other sports he likes either.

I am a huge fan of JG, i will never forget when he wheelied through the inside of that corner at red bud to pass Reed in 09... the guy was so committed it was one of the most impressive things i have ever seen.

The guy wreaks of talent. Had that ugly quad at Mt. Morris dialed early.
Think the 2 acl's in a year gets extremely overlooked. Thats grizzly.

IMO.. there's some great talents coming up from the 250's & that seems to be getting the attention. I think the guys some top 10 guys are getting written off because it's assumed Barcia, Wilson, etc. will just bump them further down the list next year. It's not just JG, plenty of other former top riders, Byrne, Wey, Tedesco, etc. are also going that route. JG has a shot to climb back into the top spots, but with the talent coming, I'm guessing this will be his last.
