Got a problem. when wide open the power seems to flatten out and makes a clappin noise (Its not a knockin noise). And also it blows oil out of the pipe. What could cause all this? Thanks

Are you running pump gas? I think you are detonating. I had a KX back in the 90's that would not run on pump gas. You can go richer on the main jet until it stops or mix some race gas at 50-50 with pump gas.

Drop the needle one and check the reeds quick fix. I run at 32-1 with my 2 Strokers and when they start spitting oil out the pipe its a good indication that the crank seal may be going bad.

Yea I run pump gas( 93 with no ethanol). If the seal is bad does that mean the crank is goin bad to? I also found out the guy I bought it from didn't jet it when he put a fmf pipe and silencer on, could that be a problem?

Search thumpertalk for 'air ignition gap' and fix it. It's super easy and only requires a screwdriver and feeler gauge. Kawi screwed this up from the factory.

Also, my 06' came with a 160 main jet or something ridiculously small.... fix that too if yours is setup similar.
