If I remember rightly the hot hot ticket for these was to cut the expansion chamber, remove a baffle and unleash a light Switch but stronger Hit,

I did it to my TS(ER) 100 with PE175 rear Shocks,
Oh to be young and Foolish.

Love all the vintage stuff all the time Blazer!

I searched high and low for the 'Favorite Emig Pictures' thread. I want to copy his 1993 YZ125 MXDN bike I think it was, and need to track that picture down. Could you help me out with a link? I dont know why my searches aren't bringing me to it.

That is actually my fault. The Emig thread was one of the first ones I did and I was not thinking in terms of making it east to find later for people. As I went along I decided on a more uniform title for all of them to make it easier for some one to find. Just search "Favorite" and the riders name and it shows up. With the Emig one I used the name "Fro" so it is not as easy to find. Sorry.

Here is the correct link My Favorite pics of Jeff Emig

The 79-80 RM's were a really well laid out design that looks as good now as it did back then. Not to mention, that bike looks fast even while sitting on the stand. I posted up a pic of an 80 model zook a while back mentioning that Suzuki could probably still sell them as an economical entry level motocrosser today. Fun doesn't require disc brakes or watercooling.
