If you are talking to me yes. That is why I stay away. I am now considered a dirty old man. Not the svelte surfer dude of yesteryear. And Dave at Champion says Hi.

Back in the late 80s my buddies and I did a road trip from the Bay Area down to southern Cali for spring break. We stopped in Newport. First time any of us been there. Wow. There were smoking hot girls all around. We were suppose to go to SDSU and stay w/some friends but never made it.

I hate to admit it but the company I work for is the US distributor for SYM scooters. Last year they couldn't give the things away now they can't get enough of them in the country.

Sondra, just seeing your reply.

New Orleans is doing better...thanks! Many neighborhoods are almost completely rebuilt, while others remain untouched. The city's infrastructure is slowly creeping towards the 21st Century, despite our mayor. There is a greater sense of civic duty, pride, and volunteerism among most people here nowadays, but there's still much poverty and the requisite crime to go around. I tend to look on the brighter side of things and can see how much we've recovered since the failure of the federal levee system (Most people don't seem aware that the hurricane caused very little of the damage to New Orleans).

Come on down next March for the return of Supercross and enjoy our incredible food and good times. I was as shocked as most to see New Orleans on the schedule next season, and am realistic enough to know that it's just a temporary location while Dallas rebuilds. We just don't have the fan base down here, unfortunately, but my friends and I plan on booking a suite at the Dome for the event.

P.S. March is crawfish season!

Yup. Been here for a few weeks. Visa ran out and I couldn't renew. I still want to try and make it to Southwick this year.

Sad Thats sucks! I had to miss last years.

I'll probably go to Walton and that will probably be it for Canadian Nationals.
