Oh my god Bubba is gonna be on a Suzuki! Well that changes everything. The fact that he's not even on the same planet as Dungey training wise, hasnt rode the Nats in 3yrs, and has no time on a yellow bike means nothing. It's Bubba after all. It's always gonna be something with him. The same people saying he's gonna win are the same ones who thought he was gonna come off the couch at Dilla in 2010. Dungey gave RV all he could handle last season and if it was Villo Bubba was going up against, everyone would be saying how Villo was gonna smoke him. No respect for Dunge I tell ya, no respect!

No it wasn't. Villopoto had the bike that gave him a chance to win in all 24 motos. Dungey didn't.

It seems redundant to talk about how the season played out since everyone knows how it played out. It's more interesting to speculate -- in this case, with a high probability -- how it could have played out.

There is no such thing as an asterisk in racing, not for RD or RV. Part of the game is staying healthy and no or very little mechanical problems. It's always been that way and always will.

I'm not seeing what you are talking about, maybe you could give me a link so understand better.

But I'm wondering if you would put an * next to RV's name since Dungey had 2 DNF's in 2011, or, if you would stick to your guns of the "Something about all his competition being out that year or sumthin..." credo and put yet another * next to RV's name in 2012 since most of his competition was missing?

I forgot about that, that's the year James Stewart hurt himself in a knitting incident which took him out all year, he was not on the bike when it happened. Chad Reed was boxing Kangaroos and also missed the SX season, he was not on a bike either, oh and RV he had the misfortune of a stubbed toe which took him out. So your right all the guys that got hurt that year were doing something other than riding there dirtbikes...........
