Amen brother ! You had to race one to believe just how much faster it was than the other 250s and the full floater was so far ahead of its time its still better than what is out today. This bike took me from winning a moto here and there to going 1-1 on a regular basis.

'78 or thereabouts Husky 390CR (the one with the 17" rear wheel). That was the most beautiful bike I ever had, and I loved riding it. I replaced it with a Maico 490 Mega 2, and although the Maico was better in every area performance-wise, I liked the Husky better.

It's not all about performance. It's more about feel, ethos, paranormal attraction.

1980 Husky OR 250. Steered like a battleship but fast as a Ferrari in the rough stuff! Loved that bike. Practically gave it away. Wish I had kept it.
