I kinda think the AMA over-reacted. Yes he got arrested, but if he is found not guilty, then what? I agree with banning him from racing last weekend, just don't get the whole year, if that what it ends up being. What's funny to me is, everyone can't distance themselves fast enough from Lawerence. Where if this was a mainstream sport, the team would be standing behind him, helping him. In this case they just cut ties as fast as they can? I don't get it.
In my opinion, that's exactly what is WRONG with mainstream sports. Some of these dumb-fuggers go out driving drunk, wrecking cars, assaulting people, raping women, and the team and fans "support" them. They should all be fired, fined, whatever. No wonder they all think they are above the law. If you think that's the way it should be, you're part of the problem.

x2 there are enough folks out there who are "above the law" and for awhile "jay" was one of them...

oh and looks like mainstream sports are catching on to the idea that if you keep messing up your going to get fired....

" The Bears cut former first-round pick Cedric Benson after two alcohol-related arrests"

hmm interesting... so much for standing behind him and he was a 1st round draft pick!!....

This thread is not about water wetter, hence the WTF. It's not about cornholing either.

Now, go make/find a J-cock funny-photo...

Trip.....................................What a dick!

If you can't see humor in other's posts, then just leave it alone. The way I see it, is you are a negative prick, so I won't post in your posts anymore either. See how easy it is?

Like it or not, dumbass, Jason Lawrence is in the news and like someone said in an earlier post, like him or dislike him, it's in the news and people are watching.
Dude relax, I don't even know you and you want to call me a dick because you don't agree with with something I posted? That makes me a dick? Oh, and a prick?

Way to go Gibby on cleaning up the name calling.

Damn, used to be guys had a disagreement, talked a little smack on each other and moved on. You can't debate the topic without calling names? Like it freakin' matters what you call me, somehow it changes my life?

Not denying he is a public figure in the news right now at all, and is fair game. Just everyone seems out to take a cheap shot. You want to say he f'ed up and deserves to be fired, fine. Putting up bad photoshopped pics, and then say you don't really care that much about him is crap.

That's bullshit

There is a laundry list involved here, and I have stayed out of the Jlaw bashing, but your post is just plain bullshit.

He was given multiple warnings and chances, MULTIPLE WARNINGS AND CHANCES

He has legal issues in multiple states, from coast to coast.
He is on PROBATION with the AMA, again.

He's had many chances to straighten up and fly right, but has been incapable to do so.
Not sure how many chances you expect his employer to give him as well as the sanction/league.

This WAS NOT his first incident

and TRUST ME, there's stuff people have not heard about, because his employers, the sanction and the industry has kept their mouth shut on it

So, STFU
Jay blew it
He knows it
I'm aware it's not his first incident. This isn't baseball or football, it's dirt bikes. This stuff isn't taken that seriously. Have you seen his name in any newspaper unrelated to mx? Did he make the news? No, nobody outside the people who follow the sport know. Maybe the guy has some problems and needs some help? Do you help him or just turn your back because, well he's been in trouble before?

STFU, is just way over used and it's really lost it's meaning.

He will be back racing.

Rolling a rental car to me is no big deal. He has to pay for it and you move on. How many rent a cars has Mitch, destroyed over the years?

There are plenty of things the industry covers up, he isn't the only one.

Yes, he deserved punishment, but for the AMA to make descision before you know if the guy is guilty or not to me is bs. What ever happend to due process? So if it all goes away, and all charges are dropped, which basically means it never happend. Does he get to race?

You ever think that they cut Benson because he wasn't living up the the hype and used the 2 DUI's as the reason? Nah.

Crash you suck at paint.

Yes, don't really see the big deal in trashing a rental car at all. Thats why you rent a car isn't it? If he has money to pay for it and nobody got hurt, and there is no criminal case. Then, no I don't see the big deal.
Rolling a rental car to me is like rock bands trashing hotel rooms.
You do know some of the shit Mitch Payton has done to rental cars right?

"Thats why you rent a car isn't it?"

You really think the reason to rent a car is to abuse and destroy it? Honestly?

Have you ever picked up a body when it was crushed by a roll over? Picked up brains and viscera and crash-bagged it?

Almost 45 and thought I had heard it all,,, I honestly am at loss on this one.
