He wears a pretty bulky undershirt chest protector.

Hey, I guess it's still better than another JS7 thread

Good for him. Makes sense to wear the protective gear.

Smart kid! Has probably saved is body a couple of times. Anyone who has landed on their shoulder with proper shoulder pads and without knows what I'm talking about...

That spine protector should be mandatory for all riders.

Ken's a smart kid for using good protection. If you're used to it, you just don't notice it and you feel naked without it.

It is in most countrys in europe. In sweden u are not allowed to race without a spine-protector

pure speculation, but a back protector like that may have helped canard in his most recent get off.

I fully agree about back protection at least. We had manditory back protectors for road racing in the 80's. I like his set up. I have Allways ran elbow protectors and a full chest protector. Now as I get older I was going to get a pressure suit. I am liking this hybrid style. Some one should be making a piece together type of deal like this.

I wear the full fox titan jacket (the shoulders and arms on the unit Roczen is wearing came off of it)...and I absolutely love it! The back protection is about 2X's the one roczen is wearing, and it has a kidney belt built in. I feel naked without it...and I've taken multiple highspeed desert tumbles in it, and have walked away without so much as scratch on me (all credit to the body armour). Sure I've tweeked my shoulder, and wrist, and ankle (nothing to serious)...but no scratches or bruises at all. And had I not had it on, I would have been all torn up!

And it's comfortable under my jersey...so most people just think I'm fat...and i can rep for all my sponsors (by sponsors I mean, myself). I'm wearing it in my profile pic actually.

I wear an RXR, I'd never ever ride without it.

I strongly agree, and he is looking in to his options for spine protection for the future.

At least the Leatt saved his neck/life.

You would be correct.

I always wore a full chest protector and elbow pads anyway...and this is way more comfortable than that, with way more protection.

That actually looks like it would be somewhat comfortable. Better than my over the jersey stuff anyhow.

Get Honda to support it and it's done.
