and picked up an 2012 CRF250 of Friday. Simply put 250f's are the most fun (for me) you can have on two wheels. This bike handles like a dream.................

It is nice to rock a new bike once i awhile. I usually buy a year or so old and work a deal but couldn't find what I was looking for. Motosport Hillsboro came through in a big way for me so I went with the 2012. Haven't got many pics yet as I spent the weekend breaking it in and was to busy to bust out the camera. Riding, playing track builder & mechanic for my two boys makes a weekend fly by!

And to keep in the Vital theme lately I will still be riding my '96 CR125 that I restored. Especially at a few races. Can't wait to slap down some 450's with it..........

my buddy has a 12crf 250, he put on a rear link, got his suspension done, oversize front rotor, and a full yosh pipe,on it,and when the stock stuff wore out he put on a new renthal sprocket set with did ert2 chain, added one tooth on the back, bike really rips with just the pipe and rear sprocket changes, he runs race fuel on race day pump on practice days.

Thanks mxb2. I picked up a Yosh pipe at the same time as I got a smoking deal on it. Only ran one moto with it but it seemed to be decent. Need a remap I guess to get the full benefit? I am really concerned about sound as I have a track at my house and don't like loud bikes.
I will have Dave at Pro-Motion suspension go through it once it breaks in and I get a feel for what I want. I do like how light this is and how much better it turns compared to my 09 KX250f....

Only pic from the day so far-

Nice pic man, crf stuff .com has somepretty trick stuff for hondas if you have extra money mapping, vortex or get ignition no toil screenless cage really make a difference on the 250 s. Race fuel is not cheap but it really is a plus also on the little bikes.

Apparently, a bike he's happy with. Which is exactly what everyone should do, no matter which flavor it is.

I have to confess, I'd love a shiny new Honda 250f.

What race fuel are you running in a stock motor? MR12?

Congrats on the wise choice.

You should've seen the wikked sik one handers I was throwing earlier................Guyb hit the nail on the head. The reason thumpers sell is because people, like myself, prefer them. There isn't any big conspiracy, and if there was I would still ride a 250f.
Pummel, your always welcome and yes, the day after riding your bike the Kawi went up for sale. After riding yours and the KTM 350 the same day there wasn't any question on which way to go..........
