I know I haven't been the biggest JS fan lately, but to say he is done just doesnt make sense. None of us know whats going on with James. Dont forget he did win 2 races this year. Not bad for a guy that is "done"

I'm flying to Vegas from Sweden to watch My first AMA supercross and one of the reasons to go there was to get to see JS7 race.

Probably a good reason why details are missing about the broken "hand"? Dunno what he thinks/feels, but if him and his team bothered about our shit, and wanted the speculations/bs to stop, one could easily just put the cards on the table? I'm sure the sponsors are already asking for details anyway?

But as usual we know shit, and will find out in the end, while specualtion our asses off in between! Voila the point with a forum! Grinning

It's so obvious when riders like JS7 and Windham aren't riding the sport gets slightly boring. Vilopoto is a well deserved champion and a hard worker, no questions about that. But he just don't have that special charisma or flash around him.

RV beats the tracks ass.....kicks its dog......defiles its woman and empties its fridge of beer on the way out.

I really really want to be a fan of James, I love his raw talent and sometimes his over aggressiveness. I think what he does for his fans is second to none and what he has done for the sport is only behind the likes of McGrath and RC.....but the one thing that I don't understand is why his camp has never been forthcoming with all fans. I understand if you are in the points race holding back on information that may give your competitors a mental edge but not now the championship is over. Chad has gained so many fans the last few years by being open and honest that he has actually changed all fans expectations for communication. James you should be learning from this and become more open with your followers let us know what is going on, what are your plans for the summer and if you don't know just say that you don't know. I know that we as fans will be way more forgiving and understanding if you do. With that said James doesn't owe us anything but things aren't going to change until he changes his approach, again Chad, MC and RC are pretty good examples.

With all of this talk of a broken "hand", is "hand" just a code word for "ego"?

Oh I am! as I am a fan of everyone! I just don't like the jumping to conclusions that many do on here especially those that accuse him of not being injured. if he were open then that would go away.

Would you be happier if you had x-rays?

We need to start handing these out to various members. Wink

Nope. He'd find something even less intelligent to say.

So it's his Go-Pro cam that's causing him to wreck? Why doesn't he just take it off?

Wouldn't a Vital KNOWITALL sticker be more universal and economical?

Regardless, get there early and take it all in. It's a great experience if you like racing.

I sincerely hope he gets well, and comes back better than ever. He has the talent, and ability to run with the best. I wouldnt want to have the kind of pressure he does. Sheesh. Clear your mind Bubba, and ride for the love of it, and the GOOD fans. I wish him well. There is a big hole when hes not out there, just like Canard, Dunge, et al.

And deprive you of a reality show that's a whole lot more real? You want that?

And no, I don't think that's the cause of his crashes.

Yep. It adds too much weight to his helmet, causing him to wreck. Can't you read what the Vital Engineers have explained for us? Get it together, man.

You literally typed an essay about how he "rawrg rawrg rawrg doesn't tell the fans shit" when there is a fucking press release stating he is out with a broken hand. God damn you're fucking stupid. It's like every Stewart thread brings out the fucking retard in every motocross goon. Holy shit.

Ok let me slow it down for you....he had two weeks to at least say something he chose not to and that is part of the reason we have so many useless threads and then you come along and try to argue with me the exact point I made....moran!

Shorty's healthy and riding from what I'm told.

It's the Laramy McBrook's end that's broken. Sponsorship issues apparently.

Okay yes the dealer bought YZ450f and James works JGR YZ450f are completely different animals, but the one variable that dramatically affects the handling characteristics of a bike is the same, and that is the frame geometry.

It just seems that on a level that Bubba is on, the YZF frame is just too unpredictable to consistently charge with, it does not seem to mesh with his style.

His confidence is slim and I don't blame him, it just doesn't look good out there most nights.

As a fan, it would be sad and frustrating to see him retire on a Yamaha and never know if it was him or the bike for sure. You want to see someone as good as James leave on a good note, on his own terms much like RC.

Also far fetched but it seems like a bunch of similarities with Rossi's situation too, switching brands and having lesser success. Setup and rider confidence is just too vital (haha) these days with the intensity that the competition brings, everything on the bike has to be dialed in just right, and when it is, you gotta keep dialing it in and find ways to gain more speed to keep up with the rest!

Not easy being a Motorsport racer in 2012 no matter what the discipline, that is for sure.

Yea, if they would SHOW it! Ever notice that when a guy is way out front you don't see him until the end? I think they should make it split screen and always show the leader. Lately they show the "battles" which is fine but then they switch over to RV and I think "Man that guy is going fast".

Ok let me slow it down for you...some injuries can be ridden on ala Houston. Now stay with me. Maybe, just MAYBE, they were giving it some time to see if he could heal enough to ride New Orleans after auguring himself in Houston(LIKE THE FUCKING PR SAYS). Crazy shit; I know. Stay with me though. Maybe, JUST FUCKING MAYBE, the wrist wasn't far enough along to allow him to ride New Orleans so they called it done. God damn this shit is harder than calculus to understand. You mention JAMES STEWART to a motocrosser and he brain automatically goes to dumb fuck mode.
