1974 Plymouth...Roost in the air !!

Ah...Plymouth...Everybody's favorite ride
Hard to describe this track...A blast to ride but humbling as hell
It would groom up smooth and nice with our road grader and water truck.....Mostly sand ( actually old mine tailings } Anew track design almost every race.....it looked like a speedway....
But, Waatch out...The track would change with every lap....Huge berms...Kickass, I mean energy sapping KICKASS WHOOPS....Wide track...racing lines everywhere....natural jumps....motos that seemed endless....Where's the white flag? Finish the moto....sand in your ears...Bushed ....YEEHAW....Can't wait for the next race here!!!

Plymouth, my favorite track along with Sears on a nice winter day when the grass greened up. Two totally different place. Plytmouth definately is the one track I would have back if it were up to me to choose. The site is still there undeveloped.

Ahhh, the original site for the Hangtown Classic. Raced there many of times. I have some Hangtown sportsman brass from there. In 1977, 250 Expert class got a 6 place. Very cool track. I remember one sunday when Billy Sugar bear Grossi and Marty Tripes raced the best set of motos that I have every seen. They raced neck and neck the whole motos. What a fun day at the track. To bad they moved it to McGills where it is to this day.
