Pourcel is so weird! I really hope there is a legitimate reason for him slowing down like that.

Reckon he's just underestimated/forgotten how physically demanding these sand tracks are.

For someone that likes to find the smoothest lines he probably cant get a flow going.

I wonder if he thought it'd be less sandy. I know that sounds stupid but last year it was quite dry and fast, maybe more like Southwick. However this year they've had some rain and it's more like the sand track you'd expect. He just looked knackered to me (apologies to CP if that turns out not to be the case) which can either happen through lack of fitness or if you have a really bad rhythm.... either way not good.

Absolutely awesome racing up and down the field, exactly what I expected. Disappointed for Bobby and Christophe but very happy for Ken rewarding KTM from the opportunity they gave him. Great battle with Frossard and Desalle.

I can't see how as an ex World Champ, 2 x SX lites champ and 2 x runner up in the Nationals.. how that could happen? Esp THIS year! Late in the season last year he just about cleaned up his reputation after the mess and shit storm that was his 2011 season, he is on a bike he likes.. you'd think he'd come out guns fucking blazing! Got to give him the benefit of the doubt and presume there is some other issue other than fitness, cause at his level thats inexcusable.

Did he ever start this weak in seasons past (apart from 2011)? Can't have been the case with his two seasons with Mitch?

I don't reckon its fitness. He dropped anchor straight away. Very strange performance. Wouldn't be surprised if he somehow won next week though.

Sucks for bobby. Sounded like he was hauling. The battle between frossard and desalle was good. Mx2 was boring though. Herlings should start dead last.

I hope they don't make a habit of grooming the track between motos at future GPs

No factory!

Ended cairoli, desalle, frossard, goncalves, strijbos, de dycker. pourcel crashed and dropped back to 9th.
