That's nice and still holds a simple feel. I think this without the black on the shroud and tank would look great! Just the 2 blue stripes... and then the blue frame!! And the plain blue seat... yeah, I think if I can find an 00 - 02 RM 250 to do for myself, I might do that as well.

A blue frame with that kit would be awesome and make it very unique, you should go for it!! Cool

Has that thing ever been ridden?? Or are those new bike pics? Looks pristine! Mine is the same year, and didn't have stock graphics on it when I got it. I really want some stock ones now!

Edit: Ironically, my bike also had 92 on it when I bought it.
Yes, that was when the bike was new. But it still looks pretty close to that now.

Speaking of blue frame & blue engine I built this one for a friend's son for Christmas last yr. It was based on my bike bike but we went with a blue theme & I think it came out great.

its hard to see in the pic but there are 3 colored stipes on shrouds. light blue, dark blue and black. its supposed to be an attempt at a retro type kit.

Here is where I'm at so far. Painted the frame black and will put black frame tape on instead of the gray stuff that's on there now. Just waiting on the Scalvini pipe that should be here next week. I know black rims would look good but don't really feel like spending the money on them. Motor is done by Gorr, first real ride tomorrow.

Heres mine...

I decided to make my own kit to look similar to the Euro bikes. Since I don't have a long list of sponsors I included club logos, my business, and even my favorite band logo... It gets quite a bit of attention. Natalie at Sign Art in vista Ca designed and made the kit. She is the best there is. (she also did... Jake Oswalds Miley Cirus kits)

bike also has blue wheel kit and FMF pipe now... funds were lacking when i originally threw down.

I think Andrew Shorts Motoworld bike looked pretty good too.

I also liked Mike Browns Rockstar bike when he was teammates with J-Law

I can't seem to find a picture of it... but the Team Subway Suzuki privateer team a few years back had some cool bikes. I think Ted Campbell rode on one.

If someone could find a picture, I'd be much obliged.

Not exactly a replica but pretty all the same, apart from the Clarke tank of coarse.

I had a number of Andrew Shorts Motoworld RM250's in 02-03ish. One of them was 3 wks old when I bought from Motoworld right after Short broke his tailbone at the Dallas supercross. It was just as he raced at the Supercross

This was an 04 Motoworld Arenacross bike that I bought from Motoworld. It was either Justin Brayton's or Tommy Hofmaster's & It had everything on it, kit suspension, wheels, clamps, wave rotors, Vortex programmable ignition. This bike was really good & it had a huge flywheel weight on it & it was just crazy fast but very easy to ride. It was definitely one of my all time favorite RM's

hey digger, it looks like 250f rear # plates and possibly rear fender on that 428 bike, could you explain how those fit on there? were they direct bolt on, or was there more to it? please elaborate because it looks amazing, it really updates the look

We just cut the rear number plates with a dremel. It took like 2 sets to get it right (angles wise) but I had a leftover box of Motoworld plastic from 03ish so we had plenty of plates to practice on. Ron has it down to science now & can cut them to match perfectly every time now. There are still very strong because of the seam that runs down the middle. It was a way to udpate the very dated looks of the RM250 or 125. You put on a 2010-11 front number plate & fender & then cut the side number plates so they resemble an RMZ's also.

Mike, you need to put a cpl of washers under the rear 2 holes of the fender to space it correctly. I didn't like the way that the 2011 fender tipped way down in the front when we first put it on so I spaced it so it would look like it followed the contour of the tire better. Just my 2 cents :-)

Just got done getting it ready for practice this afternoon. I got a yellow/gold bolt kit from Pro Bolt & I think they really make the bike look cool.
