Dude, who is pumped up for this weekend? (raising right hand)

Red Bud is one of the the baddest tracks on the circuit. I think it has one of the coolest starts in the game as well. They come around there 4th gear pinned, five wide, hanging off the back.

I raced there in 1996. It was nutty, Dobb won the first moto and Emig beat McGrath. Lot of whacky stuff at Red Bud:

-Larry Ward wins last national of his career on a Moto XXX YZ250F

-Ryan Mills' win

-Mike Brown beating Bubba in 2002. (Bubba had bike problems I think)

-RC vs JS and RV vs BT last year. Man, it was awesome.

I'm entering the pit bike race Saturday night. If you're going to the race come check it out, sure to be a laugh!

Anybody else have some cool Red Bud memories?

Tell your boys at Racer X that the "Breaking News" section on the website is getting ridiculous.

Saving $10 on an order with the "Jump into July with Decal Works" promotion is not "BREAKING NEWS".

Nor is a press release from MX Track Builders letting us know that if we want to pay someone to move dirt around, we can.

See you there, Guy B!

We need to have another round table like we did at Chilli's.

We'll roll in tomorrow night, let's hang.

That was fun, and you do good impressions.

I think Friday and Sunday nights will be in Chicago, with Saturday night in South Bend.

Hey, you're still running stock graphics on your profile. Wink

I'll dress up my profile for sure.

Other Red Bud stuff:

-MX Kied and "Iron" Mike LaRocco locking horns in 1996. They got into it on the track, spokes were knocked out, then I think it was Kied who ghost rode his bike into The Rock. A rough day for former Team Kawi manager Roy Turner!

-Sean Hamblin completely annihilating a front wheel on The Leap.

-Ryno hitting in the air and landing on side of monster table top and going yard sale.

-Dungey's "worst case scenario" crash last year. Yikes.

I need a skyhook so I can show off how big The Leap really is. It's hard to do in photos.

RC cutting the track in the first 250 practice in 2000 and heading straight over to the Jump to try it out. He said he always wanted to clear it on a 125 - but couldn't.

My first year was the year that 18 port o johns got burned...what an expierence that was.

Normal memories are....

Rolling in with 9 kegs of beer, 3 couches, DJ turntables with huge speakers, 2 motorhomes and being the loudest, biggest party in the pits!!

Oh oh, you wanted racing memories...I never remember the racing due to above mentioned antics on Saturday night!

LMAO!!! Same here. We took our motorhome downtown last year and parked in some random ass lot with all the cops and watched the 2 minute show and were like WTF???

We found some random ass chicks last year and brought them back... they made jello shots in our motorhome and left... haha.

The firework show at the track is pretty sick though... not gunna lie...

Cuz our here in Cali we got smoke bombs and sparklers.

91 Im about to go to sleep in my trailer the night before the nat. Im parked right behind the factory kawa simi and about dark the war starts. I swear the worst couple hours in iraq couldnt have been as crazy with bombs and fireworks going off.
someone musta had it out for the kawa rig as a hundred bottle rockets hit and exploded with in 20 feet of my rig. so Im outside the trailer making sure nothin is gona catch fire when Tom Morgan, Jeff Wards mechanic pokes his head out of the big rig and invites my mechanic and I over to hang out.
so for the next couple hours we get to a up close tour of of the factory simi. get to hang out with Tom and bench race. even saw a few things that I still to this day wouldnt talk about publically.
