What happend to the 350's?

Half of you guys sound like quad riders. BIGGER IS BETTER, I WANT A 700 TWIN!

Bring on the 350's, the displacement it should have been in the beginning.

And make the sound level 92db.

If you want a bike that makes you feel like a man, buy one from AJ.

The US market train wreck had more to do with the 350 delay than pissed off managers. The US side was "fuck off with the 350 idea, we are kicking ass with 450s." and the Japanese said "bullshit, you are losing money on those too!" With the exchange rate down, they really do lose money on MX bikes, which is why racing money is drying up so fast.

On the other hand the exchange rate is working in Europe's favor. They don't sell as many but they make more money. Euros are not whining about 350s as much as the US guys were, so its only a matter of time. The money losers can't tell the money makers what to do.

The 350s are coming, just not on the same schedule.

There are other interesting displacement changes for the US under discussion for SX, but I might wait until you people can the attitude before I tell ya about them!
You really should see a professional and talk this out. Your behavior is unhealthy.

You should have GuyB re-name this site "shoot the messenger" MX dot com

What I wrote is accurate. It sounds like you have a personal problem.

Teefus was right for once, new Honda 350 spy photo.

The idea passed through the FIM, the AMA, and all the manufactures, but when it got to DC’s desk, he vetoed it. Darn DC!

Man I hope they do, after riding my ported big bore 250f I think 350 would be the perfect size. They could reformat it like this...for outdoors that is, for sx just the 250f's and 350f's

Outdoors
Lites - 250f
MX - 350f
Open - 450f - Would be a good support class for privateers w/o the dough to run highly modded bikes like the factories and still be able to prove themselves also good in case they are too big for a 250f

After riding my ported high comprssion crf450 and still wanting more I would have to call FAG on anything less except for sx use which is FAG only to begin with.

Indoors
One class. FAG only. Open displacement.

Outdoors
One class. Heterosexual only. Open displacement.

Nevermind.

Sales of motorcycle are not booming in Europe neither and some brands sales have reduced too. The markets were already much smaller than the US anyway. right now I don't think that the US market has more "tanked" than in Europe, same things are happening there too.

European people are still not better off than here when it comes to afford dirt bikes and dirt bikes riding and the strong Euro and high cost of gas is hitting their economies too.

By the way, Ducati just posted it's best sales ever in the US, higher than their highest back in May 2007. So some guys are doing good.

Manufacturers are not making money high margins on bike sales anyway.

I remember Carmichael saying one time about how the 450's are just too fast and powerful, but for some reason I seriously doubt the rest of the planet is really capable of testing a machine to it's fullest potential. Tons of spodes like 250f's because they can feel like a hero revving the piss out of the bike. 450's are nice because the average guy who buys the bike never takes it to a track and that is a fact and the 450's displacement allows the average weekend warrior to ride it moderately for a while before a rebuild.

furthermore; much has to be done before a new class can emerge. Including 450's outdoors with 250 two strokes was simple, but assimilating 350 four strokes would require some cross organizational communication. Basically not going to happen for a while

Also some of the top 250f guys are running a 450 pace now, if there were 350's there would have to be one class otherwise there would be no point to having two classes.

They do and they are pissed off about it. Its because of the exchange rate and low sales-high costs. That is why racing support for MX is in the shitter.

I would hate to be MX Sports right now...less contingency, higher fuel costs, this summer is gonna suck. Nothing left to do but attack people who report I guess.

HAHAHA

Back when it was all 2-strokes it was the best!!! The tracks weren't inundated with vet/old slow, fat guys on the tracks! Now the old fat bastards on loud 4-strokes are everywhere. It's ruining the sport.

Huckster.

And I forgot to mention the possibility of the DMG deal collapsing due to their arrogance...which puts the bone they threw the npg at risk. Doh!

If the DMG deal falls apart, what happens to DMG tossing the nats to npg or MX Sports, home of the hillbilly personal attack? Doh!

karma's a beotch

I must say my timing for buying the track was bad . The good thing is I damn near own it so I will be able to hunker down and wait till the next upswing . There are not any tracks inundated with bikes at all here in Co.

ok, that is a lot of speculation for a Tom Brokaw, only the facts, type like yourself.

I still hope that you at least look into talking to someone though.

I can relate to what your going through and genuinely care about people so I hate to see you in so much inner turmoil. I really think that if you went and talked to a qualified professional that they could help you work through some of your issues. If you don't resolve them they will just eat at you and its apparent that this is already happening.

If I would guess it seems like TFS is doing cocaine from the loss of weight to the paranoia that everyone is out to get him. Either that or all the drugs the doctor has him on is causing it. Sometimes all the drugs the doctor gives you can be just as bad as the illegal drugs.

Its really amazing how doing some trivial news work that no one reads ignites such personal attacks. I used to call it "the florida syndrome" because it seems everyone down there talks to each other that way instead of like normal people. You guys can't all be from Florida can you?

Florida syndrome examples-

"Do you think it's too wet to ride today?"
"YOU are a......"

"How much tire pressure do you run in this sand?"
"YOU are a ...."

Every run across people that can't stop talking that way?

Florida syndrome.

Smile
