That's a painful read, Scottie. Only because it's so vivid. Almost like I'm there watching it. It's taken me since Sunday night to comment, it's that brutal. Your road back to get where you are is impressive. An inspiration, to say the least. Congrats man, you're made of some pretty tough stuff.

I'm in! Let me know when they're available. I know how painful sitting in a truck for hours on end is, at 50 years old. I have the option of getting out. Can't imagine what being chair bound is like. Brutal.

Damn that is some pretty wild shit Cyg, prob be quite awhile before something like that develops to a point where it would be an everyday viable solution. Sure is interesting, but looks like it takes wayyyy to long to get in and out of.

I want one of these!

Scottie, do you know the Segway thing has already been done by a machinist/engineer by my house? The former Team Honda racer Chris Blaise (sp) has one. It kicks ass.

Let me know if you need info...

Cygnus... I am in, just send me a pm when you have something set up. I do not post much but spend a lot of time here. There are many more people like me that really appreciate Scotty and what he does for this forum.

Please post any info you can Chris. I thought the wheels on this product seemed small a Segway type machine seems like it would work better.

There is no link!!! The guy who built it has a fairly large tinfoil hat collection! I think the best way to get info is through Chris. I'll go by the builder's house when I get home. I know he wants to make more of these.

Here's a couple of links to Adapted Segway's. The Genny is made in Italy and the Ally is made in Pheonix, Az.

Genny Mobility

Ally Chair

Scottie, a friend of mine from Spain, Oscar Lanza was here a few weeks ago and had a full carbon chair that was unbelievably beautiful and light, his Roho weighed more the entire chair including the wheels. I need to get the name of it.

Also I was in Redding on Monday picking up my 5th wheel and almost called you up but it was getting late and had to get motoring.

26 years...that's a long frigging time my friend...Ricky had his 7th on 3/10/12

Could've been the Progeo joker carbon, lovely bit of kit,I tried one last year,it was soooo light, but ultimately I wasn't
tempted as. It almost felt flimsy (but wasn't) compared to the feel of my RGK as its a 1 piece Titanium rigid. They're Italian I think, awesome chair though
