09 kx250f carb problems

As title states I have an 09 kx250f. Towards the end of last season my bike started running like crap, it would cut & hesitate with throttle on at all different times it wasn't just low rpms or it was everywhere it would cut. SO I take the carb apart & totaly clean every jet & nook & cranny in there with the air hose & carb cleaner. This is the second time we have taken the carb apart & done this & I still am not getting any better results.

Any ideas on what I should look for next ? It appears to have spark it fires up with ease but the biggest problem is when you just try to roll the throttle on it cuts & dies , it works when you're close to wide open but of course it can't be ridden that way. Please help any suggestions?

I bet u didn't set the fuel screw back to where it was.....had a similar prob on an 07 rmz450. My buddy said he took carb apart n cleaned it. Then it started breakin up. Couldn't figure it out. He failed to tell me that he didn't count how many turns out the fuel screw was. So I took the carb apart twice each time setting the fuel screw to where I found it. Once he told me that I just set the screw to stock and the bike ran like new. Dave

i have the exact bike... this winter it took a shit on me and did exactly what yours is doing. i cleaned it all too, like the guy above me said you prolly messed up on the fuel screw. run it all the way in and then bring it back out to about 2 1/4 turn. thats what i run on mine now and its good. other than that in the winter i get a nhjs needle and keep the clip at the same posistion, then i run a 45 pilot jet and a 178 main. runs perfect like that.

I also have the exact bike it ran fine last fall and this spring but once it started to get hot outside the bike started running like shit it idles high and if I turn the idle down it kills it I can turn the idle down and turn the throttle a hair and keep it running but ive messed with different sizes or pilot jets from a 38 to 45 and ive messed with the fuel screw to cant think of any other reason it would be popping when I let off the throttle and not idling any other suggestions?

You may have an air leak in the intake or your TPS may be bad. It could also be a bad accelerator pump.
The poping may be coming from a bad exhaust pipe gasket at the head.
