Feel free to talk and do whatever the sh** you want when you have a RED #1 plate. When he loses it, then he becomes a problem. Sorry, just my opinion.

This.

Unfortunately, the 'experts' here don't know about racing....

Wiemer has had more then a few lessons on that this year.

Shit like that dont fly in the big boy class.
Obviously didn't see Unadilla last year!!! Took a Factory Honda, got the holeshot, was in third on the final laps battling with Dungey and ended up crashing and but still getting in the top 5.

That doesn't fly? It obviously soared over your head.

-RV2 & Mike Alessi

-JS7 & Chad Reed

-Mike Alessi & Josh Grant

-Pretty much the entirety of J-Law's time in the 450 class.

Day in and day out occurrences whenever the pair meet excluding J-Law.

The dude's just obnoxious. There's no reason to wring your bike out like that.

Honestly, listening to Vince Friese's interview on DMXS makes me think more highly of him than Barcia. Friese is cool as a cucumber. As long as you can take it, there's not so much wrong about dishing it out.

As evident from Bercy, I have a feeling Barcia will cave like a girl when the big boys dish some shit his way.

As evidenced by his time racing them and finishing pretty damn good.....I predict Justin will have a big bike title in the next 3 years.

I putting it on all on the table and saying he will have a Factory Honda and title within 3 years as jndmx said. He will most like be on the Factory bike either next year or whenever if contract ends. Although their character and style is completely different, Justin Barcia is Trey Canard in 2010 right now.

Honda Teams & Connection to Factory Honda in order of support.
-Factory Honda
-Two Two Motorsports
-Geico Honda
-Supercross.com
-Troy Lee Designs
-Amsoil Honda (Amateur)

Bear with me here, Trey was a up and coming Geico rider and stuck with them till he won the lights championship in both SX and MX (I'm sure someone is going to try to be clever and bring up the 1 point difference @ Pala but he won it.). He promptly signed with Factory Honda as expected.

Justin has won a SX championship and if he puts in consistent performances in the outdoors he will win that as well. He has already filled in for Trey on Factory Honda. A sure indicator that Honda is interested in him.

The way this will work as it has in the past is the fast guys in amateurs get signed by Amsoil Honda, when consistent enough they transfer to Geico Honda and when a championship is won they funnel through to Factory Honda. (The only exception to this is Cooper Webb. Who I have seen and personally raced with on Honda 250Rs.)

Bam Bam will either take Brayton's place (depending on Brayton's health and consistency) or be added into a new slot on the team. ET will follow when his 3 years with Geico is up, and so will 'El Captain' when his time is done.

This will definitely play out based upon what Eric Kehoe does in increasing the team. If the team does not increase and Brayton stays put, then Mike LaRocco (logically speaking) would keep Justin and co. and transfer them up to K-Dub's on track team mates.

All of this is what I think and am inferring from past events. I'm don't know what the actual plans are but if everything is in the norm. then I should be right.

if barcia was gunna win an outdoor 250 title he would have done it already. trey canard in 2010 was completely healthy thats all that really changed and is why he won the title. barcia has had three full and healthy outdoor season and hasnt won the title and his results have only gotten worse each outdoors season. hes fast mainly in sx and hell win a few main events but i dont see him winning any titles on a big bike even if someone else is injured. when he moves up next year so will wilson. then tomac the year after that and he doesnt have either of them covered.

NoGo, I understand where you are coming from but If you remember last year he was up front in nearly every race but always pushed himself and crashed out. Like I said earlier if he puts in consistent results and keeps his head off the dirt (rides a smart, controlled race) he should be a strong championship contender for the 2012 MX season.

I'm going to keep going back to Unadilla here because that really the only point I have to show he is fit for the 450s. A holeshot and near podium is pretty impressive. I don't think he'll be a 2010 RD5 or a 2011 RV2 but I think he will podium frequently and finish somewhere in the top 5 in points if all goes well.

As far as Wilson, he will put in just as strong of a ride and will make it harder for both of them. In my perspective its up to who gets the best start between the two.

On the other hand I think to make will be a 2010 RD5 or a 2011 RV2 given his # of SX wins and the margin between the pack. If you go pack and look at some of the lap times from the West Coast Lites, Tomac ran lap times near or above RV. In some cases the fastest lap of the night, lights and big bikes. I'll put up some of the lap times if you doubt me.

Which one of those Rookies came in and started punting the vets like Barcia has been doing in the lites?

Barcia will try that crap and get blasted by:

James
Chad
RV
RD
Grant

Thats my point. You cant pull that shit in the big boy class and not get punished for it. Lites class it can happen with out much worry of pay back. But in the 450s, forget about it. The top guys police that class and arent scared to take you out.

See the numerous times this year when Weimer got dealt with.

Um, Jason Lawerance for one, James Stewart is another (vs. Ricky Carmichael), and I don't know if that was a typo but you said "those Rookies... punting vets like Barcia." Are you calling Barcia a rookie after what 4 years of Lites? Hopefully I just read that wrong.

James- will play as much as a factor has he has so far. Win a few, crash a lot
Chad- is a incredible rider and will put him to the test but as Chad has hinted before, will likely retire in the 5 years, give or take 2
RV- You got me on that one, he'll be tough.
RD- Same as RV
Grant- What??? You think Josh Grant will play a factor? Josh Grant has won one race in 3 years and a handful of podiums isn't even a solid top 5 finisher! Don't get me wrong everyone at that level is a phenomenal rider (remarkable rider given he started amateur racing at age 13) and far beyond 98-99% of us but has been a mid-pack guy since his JGR debut in 09. He'll be there but I don't think he'll play much of a role.

I don't doubt someone will come along and put him on the ground but for you to say he'll be punished and treated worse in the 450 class just doesn't make any sense. Look at Bogle, Bogle comes in and starts knocking guys around and makes as many friends as Barcia, according to your logic its like SX/MX is high school were all the Seniors pick on the Freshman. It doesn't work like that. Dungey did some pushing and shoving his rookie year and look, he got the title! where were all the guys going after him?

Wow - I never saw that clip before!

Yep, Barcia looked like a little bitch there alright! That was just LAME.

He'll get his next year. He's the top of the Lites food chain right now, so he can be a bully, but the game WILL change for him next year......................

I like how Barcia rolls. Undefeated so far against a stacked feild and European Champion.
3/13/2012 5:35pm
After watching that clip i would say he was lining up an outside line.

In the Bercy clip, he was getting yeld at to get out of there.

Barcias not the same kind of kid as Weimer, he wont get pushed around by the so called big boys in the 450 class, he'll give it back. Fast does not equate tough, Barcia is tough, most of the 450 class, not so much. They are all polite to each other and compliment each other, discusting.

Looks like he just moved over into the preferred race line. nothing dirty to it at all. the guy was a lapper and he got around him and got right back in the somewhat decent line and went on with the race.

Post a reply to: Who says Barcia doesn't ride dirty??
