Huge win for Reed and his team!

That is awesome to bring in such a strong and well known (and relevant since everyone needs tires) sponsor.

Bruce Halle (Discount Tire founder) made the right choice.

Side note most may not know- the longest running commercial (same exact commercial, just repeating often for decades) has been awarded to Discount Tire.

Though they have numerous commercials that air, the one filmed in the early 70's of the old lady throwing a tire through the window of a Discount Tire store is the record holder (which was filmed at the Metrocenter mall store in Phoenix). When it was filmed Metrocenter mall was brand new (you could see many vacant lots in the background), now it is pretty much ghetto.

But that is great news for Reed and Discount Tire!

When i went to Coronado high school in the late eighties it was ghetto... Now its a dump!!!

Seems like Regal could be the guy outdoors. With him "buying his own Hondas" and all. Next year Chad will go for the kill in free agency.

Aways loved that commercial, in fact one day I was at a Discount Tire store and a guy was fixing their front door. I asked what happened "another unsatisfied customer" He gave me a dumb look, so i guess he'd never seen that commercial. I had no idea it was filmed right here at Metro Center.

Regal just got back from an injury, I question if he will be 100% for the outdoors. He had a broken hip and femur? Pretty serious stuff....I see Townley making his way back to the states???
