Hey Leyton, as it turns out I have succumbed to massive quantities of peer pressure and have decided to go to Daytona after all. If your ride falls through please contact me ASAP and we can definitely give you a ride. I'm happy to see that you are going to be able to get there one way or the other. If you want to stop by and say hello in the lot shoot me a message and I'll give you my info. We're gonna be there early, tailgating and talking shit.

For tickets call 1-800-PIT-SHOP. It's better to speak to somebody instead of using the internet. They might be able to hook you up with a better ticket. If you have a printer, just have them email you an e-ticket and print it yourself. DO NOT pay for the track-side upgrade. It will put you closer to the action but you'll be standing on the car track which is steeply banked. Very uncomfortable and too low to ground level to see the entire track. Campbell section tickets are basically in the center of the track (what we yanks would call 50 yard line seats) but Weatherly and Roberts are good as well. It's better to be a little higher to get a bird's eye view of the action. We are in Weatherly Tower, section B, rows 36, 37, & 38. We had the same seats last year and they are fantastic because they are under an awning of sorts. In the event of rain we're relatively safe. I was there in 2008 for the biblical deluge and it was not fun. I hope this rambling incoherent message is of use to you sir.

I Have an extra ticket.... It was a last minute purchase and my nieces friend can't make it..... It's only general admission with the track side upgrade but you are more than welcome to it. We will also be heading up (but from Orlando ) early so if you don't get ticket. Let me know.

Glad it's all worked out for you and the moto community has come together to help you.
I'm sure you going to have a blast at Daytona SX. Just pinch yourself as the main event goes off to savour the moment that you are there at Daytona live watching a SX. Doesn't get any better than that!

Dang man that is a bummer to hear. After reading through this whole thread I was really hoping to read that you were there watching practice and how crazy it all was to take in. Keep your head up my friend. You will get another chance to fullfill your dream. I am coming down to Pensacola and headed to New Orleans in a couple of weeks. Is it out of the question that you could maybe head to the Big Easy? Prayers and well wishes to a speedy recovery mate!

Man, I hate to hear this.Take care of your self and get better and my offer still stands. If your up to it and you can make a race I will donate 50 bucks to help make it happen. Its not much but like I said ,I have a kid that's a cancer survivor so I'm sure you know how that goes.

Hope your proton treatment is going well. Got an email today from Davey Coombs, very apologetic that with all they had going on at the Supercross academy at Daytona, he missed my email request to hook you up with passes etc.
I explained about how you sadly couldn't make it in the end to Daytona. Davey said please private message him here on Vital your hospital address in Florida and he will get some moto swag, mags, stickers etc down to you.
He posts on here under DC

I need to say this to all the people who posted on this thread. You're great people. This poor guy from another country comes here for treatment of a serious illness and asks for help. He wanted to go to Daytona. So what do you guys do? You call your buddies, find out who's going,where they are coming from, can they detour and get this guy, and between all of you, he got hooked up with a ride there. All this for some one from another country that you never heard of. You are beautiful people. Sadly he couldn't make it, but I bet he feels just as good about what you all did for him. He'll tell everyone back home of your generosity. You guys did better PR work for the United States of America than our administration has done in a long time. It makes me proud to be a member of the motocross community, and proud to be an American. I commend you all and hope good things happen to you, because you made good things happen to another.
