It was by far the best MX bike I've ever ridden. It's now the only dirt track bike I've ever ridden. Riding an 07 CR250 smoker for MX now.
How do you make the forks lowered like that?

Both my son and I have 09s and we love them. Factory connection suspension and link and they are great bikes. We are thinking about selling my sons. It has allot of time on it but the motor only has about 20 hours on it. New from the crank up.

i rode a 2011 and it was alot better than the 09. i like the power delivery better(smaller throttle body). the guys bike i rode was a fast int rider, suspension was dialed.i think the new 2012 have the link issue fixed too. anyways i love that bike.

That's a pretty misleading statement since the bikes are almost identical except for the exhaust and a few mapping changes. The rising rate linkage was changed very slightly for '12, not significant enough to tell anything. The bike just needs to be stiffened up so it doesn't push so deep into the forks, then it's good to go.

only other bike you could add to this list to be the worst ever is the 2007 YZF450

The 2007 yzf was the worst turning bike they ever made. Grant Langston even said a stock 2010 that he rode out of the crate was better than his 2007 outdoor bike he won on. I owned that 07 for as short a time frame as possible (bought it brand new) then got the 08 CRF450.

I also sat in on a YAM testing meeting with other random racers or weekend trail riders at a catered dinner with some Japaneese engineers to discuss design plans for their future bikes and our (average consumers) responses to YAM ideas, and anyone in the room that rode or raced on tracks said the same thing about the 07 yam.

The 08 Honda 450 I switched over to was pretty good, but ended up taking fast chop to violently and had too much shake in the front end compared to my 05 honda (the rake was off or something). I never did find a fix to that, the 08 took huge hits good, just was a rough ride. The 09 Honda was an absolute pile ask anyone that raced it in 09, yikes. Milsaps and other Honda riders wanted back on the 08 once that 09 hit, then 2010 was a relief to the 09 mess. From 2011 on i guess they got all issues worked out on the hondas.

The only people that I hear like that 09 is someone that dont race motocross with it.
First of all yes you are right the 2007 Yamaha 450 had difficulty but the 08 09 was and still is amazing... Grant won on the 08 and passed JS7 straight up at the wick i beleive, JS7 won supercross and could of easily won MX on it possibly another 24/0 season... that dumb ass... .

I liked the 07 Honda and the 08 and 09 Yami.... I still have the 08 Yami with FC suspenders a LMMX intake and DRD with low hours and its just a great bike ready to race anywhere.

I will get you some this afternoon. The bike is all stock except for the forks and shock. Who ever buys the bike will be getting it with the forks and rear shock of the new 2011. For some reason it wont let me PM you but I can give you my number if your interested.
Like I said if you don't want the wheels I can knock off some more money and I can meet you to save you some driving.
Thanks
