Going to the eTown LL qualifier next week.

Never been to the track and plan on driving down Thursday night to ride Friday and race Sat/Sun. Is there a decent place to park my van and sleep in it Thursday night? It doesnt seem like you can stay at the track on Thurs night.

Also, how long are motos? is that published anywhere?

-thanks

There will be a line outside the gate. Just stay there. Lots of other campers and trucks will be there also. Motos are prolly between 4 an 6 laps. Depends on the turnout.
Great track

Even overnight on Thursday? I figured that someone would be bothered by that. Hows the neighborhood around there?

Manalapan is a nice area full of yuppies. Englishtown is an old old town that is part of Manalapan or vice versa..whoever you may ask..lol

..Old Bridge is a blue collar town, a shithole IMO but not a bad place by any means.

You will park within the boundries of the track. Its a huge place with a race track, practice track, drag cars and airport, etc. Its quite safe and there will be many other MX'ers in line with you. And as for neighbors, there isnt many.
Etown also has their own security guards.

Love that track, I have never seen a track with so much elevation change sitting a big flat field !! The elevator is fun as hell, Though I do hate the dirt walls that line the track.

One last one, is there a place to fill up a water barrel or a place to wash bikes? I hate hauling and rationing water for a whole weekend.

-thanks

@mtl, there is a man made pond that is fenced in and i believe it has hoses to wash off your bikes

if you really need extra water, i can put you in touch with my relatives who live in the next town over and they will gladly hook you up with some water if you need it and it will be clean well-water, lol. i don't live in NJ however.

my email is fucked up @ the moment (company server down or some nonsense) so if you want me to email you put your email here or leave it on my vitalmx wall or whatever and ill get in touch with you. (when you PM someone here it goes to your email directly IIRC..)
