Man, that is awesome. Seemed like the track was pretty wide, especially in the corners. Loved how aggressive they were riding the insides.

St Louis 2009 is by far IMO the best track from recent history. The options were even and challenging and the S turns across the start were sick. Loved watching JLaw rail the wall and Stewie's pass on Reedy coming out of the S' was insane. My vote is Trevor Pastrami builds all the tracks.

It's a shame we can't have that kind of race track more often. Seemed like there was maybe a possibility for some added danger in a few spots (Pastrana designed, that's to be expected) but overall it was fast and exciting and a damn good course.

How could that track get so many accolades for it's creativity both when it was designed and even now years later and yet we haven't seen another one like it since?

Did the riders not like it?

Was it more expensive to build?

Is St. Louis the only place where the dirt could form the track like that?

Inquiring minds want to know.....

The dragonback triple is all man and nothing else. One of the hardest SX obstacles I've ever seen.

Fantastic track indeed. I remember that Travis said after the race that he kinda forgot that he was going to have to actually race the track during the design process. He said jokingly after not making the main event that he should have just designed a flat tri-oval. He is a funny character.

Best track ever! The way stewie rocketed out of that wall berm was crazy!

The goat would not be the goat if pastrana had a more durable body. Ricky would have probably still got all his championships with his unreal constancy but travis would have stole a lot of those race wins. Travis is a all out talent phenom
