Looks like the choice is becoming clearer. JS, RV, MA. It's becoming pretty obvious who can keep it consistently fast.

Oops. My bad. I meant MA. I was reading something on Jeff Alessi in another IE window.

I'm guessing, but I guess some of it depends on who sponsors the team. Last year it was Monster Energy.

I'd like to hope that Monster is interested in sponsoring the team, not buying the team. Would they allow a Rockstar-sponsored rider to be a member of the squad? I'd like to think so...that it'd be more about Team USA than Team Monster. Mike has shown great speed and maturity. I'd say he's earned a spot.

J-law on the squad 4 sure. He will ruin the competition the night before the race, it will make for an easy Sunday. Seriously, RC might be offended if he didn't get asked.

I can't say enough about Alessi. After surviving the ego-hype put up by his dad and the pressures brought on by that, not to mention years of riding for KTM in SX and MX, and to come on strong like he has after his lackluster SX season....dang! I saw him on the KTM at Thunder Valley two years ago, and he looked unimpressive. Last night he was amazing to watch.

Ok, I'd better step back with the praise for Alessi. Booby might start getting jealous and think I'm hitting on his heart-throb.

Actually, credit likely has to go to Mr. DeCoster. He's certainly showing what a great leader he is.

Alessi looked fantastic. No denying the kid wants it bad.

I think this would be another unbeatable team. Have J-Law as a back-up and the unofficial team leader.

I'd think Millsaps would be a more logical choice. He has more experience. I'd say Short would be a good alternate, but Short does really bad in the mud. Mud conditions should be considered. Also, you need two 450 riders and one 250 guy. Even if you did want to run a 250 in the open (ya can, can't ya?), I don't think any of the 250 riders have the speed to hang with the 450's on a Euro track, except Villo.

I never really had a problem with Mike. I really was blaming the people around him for his problems. I had a feeling DeCoster would make something of the guy. Looks like Roger's on the right path with Mike. I really like how Roger stood up and told Tony to take a hike.

Millsaps over MA? Why? How does Davi have more experience on paper or in reality? I don't see how Davi is a more logical choice over Alessi. Definitely send Mikey, RV & JS.

I think Ferry would be just as good an alternate as Short.

I was saying send MA as a primary. Someone here suggested J-Law as an alternate. I said send Millsaps as the alternate.

J-Law was sarcastically being mentioned to go as team support, meaning party with the other teams, get them drunk and useless then flounder on the track. J-Law was not mentioned for his riding skills here.

We don't need JLaw to know that the Euro's are useless drunks.

Short or Timmy should be the alternate.

RC(off the couch), JS, and RV. It would be more a laughing stock than last year.

"You don't want the truth because deep down in places you don't talk about at parties you want me on that wall, you need me on that wall. We use words like honor, code, loyalty. We use then as the backbone of a life trying to defend something. You use them as a punchline. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very freedom I provide and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather you just said "thank you," and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest that you pick up a weapon and stand a post. Either way, I don't give a damn what you think you are entitled to."

JS, MA, RV; Ferry on standby.

I'm not Alessi fan, but this year he's shown good maturity, very good (though still human) speed and consistency, tremendous desire, and the ability to get holeshots like God himself is pushing the Zook off the line. The only ones that might not want him there are the GP riders and RV (given their past history).

JS, RV and Stroupe should b the team to beat at the 08 MXoN...time for a new rookie since Villopoto destroyed the field last year, why alessi? he doesnt have an o/a yet.

so far he has everyone but JS covered, and pretty much always gets the holeshot and never stops pushing. Sounds like the safest choice to me.
