Exciting yes. Fastest at times yes. Magoo was and will be one of the best stories in motocross. You can see by my profile pic I have a display in my garage in honor of my moto friend and fellow racer.

Wow old school. Your a Dist 17 Guy huh? Cool pics. I grew up in Palatine. Raced Byron & Maplehurst. Still race in Dist 17 in the Summer. I also do a few dual sports.

Magoo is my favorite of all time. I even cherry picked a race with broken ribs to get a chance to win a trophy designed in Magoo`s honor after he passed away.

Definitely the most exciting and crowd pleasing. Fastest when he kept it on two wheels. He's got to be one of the most popular riders ever world wide. One of a kind and he is missed.

I have known Magoo ever since he was riding his Yamaha 60, Number 69x at Triple M raceway in Marysville, Ca at the night races. Used to go and ride at Bee's lake in West Sac, along the river at the Highway Patrol over flow for the river and McGills. He used to ride a Factory Bonanza Mini bike, I think it was an automatic, no gears just go. He was one guy that anyone could walk up to and he would talk or help you out with whatever. Very fast. I remember going to Helvetia Park along the river when he started racing there. His Dad and friends would be at both ends of the track, so when he fell, there was someone to pick him up and get him going again, we used to do that for my brother, Brad, also. He used to use milk crates at the starting line when he started racing big bikes. The little red headed boy sure could ride. Will miss him dearly.
