Here's the last paragraph of the article -
92-year-old Ruth Brantley was asked if she had a problem with the motocross noise.
"It don't bother me none ---- I used to ride motorcycles," she said.
But with her eyesight waning, she doesn't get behind a steering wheel anymore, let alone handlebars.
"I'd like to ride with them if I could, but I can't," she said.

BTW, anyone seen or heard from Sondy lately?
Sounds like most of the other neighbors appreciate the park.

But I thought that track has been around for like ever. Our races are at a county Fairgrounds and have been going since the early 90's, we get an occasional "new" house buyer in the neighborhood that complains. But the fairgrounds has been there with activity since the 20's. At that time it was built "out in the booneys" away from town.
Like we always say around here............move next to Ohare and bitch about noise.
Now 90-92 db true sound from a 4 stroke would be very nice. They don't need to be so damn loud. Maybe following the 94 db levels would fix alot of things
