Its 2012 damn it... why doesnt the best sport on the planet have a designated tv channel????? geez, this is so 1998.

As much as I would like a live webcast, how much money would it bring in for them.

If $5 per race, you might get 2000 subscribers if you are lucky. Thats $10k per race which is probably not worth the hassle of Feld getting into a negotiation with TV company that wants to broadcast live or next day to as many viewers as they can get.

Who cares what they make out of the actual live internet tv thing...its a much better marketing tool for the who promotion. The end game is worth much more dollars than whatever short term direct revenue is gained.

SPEED has 5 live feeds of the Rolex 24hrs streaming all night tonight. They can't have 1 feed of SX for the mains? I realize it would cut into their advertising revenue for when they DO air the SX races, but throw the fans a bone. If someone in NASCAR takes a dump, they have a separate show.
