Good pass, no harm on that one. Weimer will learn not to leave the inside that open. Nothing at all wrong with that pass.

Nothing "came back to bite him in the ass" However, James should have gotten around Weimer a long time ago in the opening laps of the main. You see Chad didn't wast any time. James does not have confidence in the Yamaha. He knows that it's still has the tendency to do weird shit and he's afraid to push it.

He got by him clean......
They touched and it put Weimer where he had no where to go but down..... Stewart was just tryin to get up front no matter who he had to run off the track and then he went down like always

So, if you think the pass was clean you're a Stewart ball hugger? You're an idiot. You would have to be a moron to see that pass as dirty. Truth is, you're just another hater of Stewart trying to stir shit up. And before you ask, I'm a RV fan.

thats fine and i understand rubbin is racin but it was way to aggressive for that early in the race because Weimer was havin a pretty good ride and he might could have put a podium spot ride in

Weimer has to have better understanding of his surroundings - sucks he went down. Stewart did look like he is tip toeing but its not the bike. Chad's front end went out and he switched tires and felt great - I don't think Stewart has that option.

Was a pretty normal pass for an sx man, welcome to supercross.
Also, the crash later on had nothing to do with the pass.

I was def bummed to see Jake go down, he was riding awesome.

James put his wheel straight into Wiemers at the top of the turn. He knew what the result would be and he chose to do it. He could have chosen to square up and go for a clean pass but he chose the take out instead. Good to see some aggressiveness on the track but he could have been aggressive like Chad and not opted for a take out move.

Not a "hugger" of either, BUT, why did Weimer block that same line 3 laps in a row with Reed on him and then leave it open for JS? Who is more likely to make the cleaner pass, 22 or 7?

At this point, I would say Weimer is riding as good as James (although not as fast at times)... so what goes around comes around.

Can't wait until it does. James took a guy that probably would have contended for the win out of the race.

Good to see Weimer riding so good!

Oh, so James wasn't supposed to pass him because he was having a good ride? Wrong.

Maybe Weimer shouldn't be a slow-moving roadblock. You know, like Alessi. That's a bad way to look at it as well.

They're all out there to finish in the best position they can. Once that gate drops, you're a target no matter who you are. They're all fair game.

I saw Chad ride JW clean for about 2 laps without even touching him and he made the pass stick. I don't think Stewarts pass was dirty.....but I little aggressive for this time in the season. Still a lot of racing left to go.....and passes like that get remembered by the riders. I wouldn't doubt that someone does that to James within the next couple weeks. Again.....great pass , but a little to aggressive this early in the year. Chad showed you could do it without any contact and it worked out great for him.

Contended for a win? Right, just like Tickle.

Look at it this way. If Stewart had not taken him out Weimer would alone in fourth in points. As it sits now they are tied for fourth.

Where'd Weimer finish last week??? You're telling me someone who finishes second one week in such a stacked class can't compete for the win the following week?

JW deserved it, he was racing behind himself and not forward. Reed should of done it to him sooner, coming to a stop to block him was just stupid.
