Do you think these kids going to art school are getting their education for free? How long do you think it would take to pay off their loans doing $10 logos? A guy posts a logo for you and it's not what you want and here we go.....time is cheap if it's someone else's.

I've been around the block with this crap. Fortunately, I'm self-taught so I didn't have student loans to work for.

I use to be all about front end.
But to tell you the truth, when I had to take my drawing courses it just burnt me out.
I also hated the fact that I could absolute love something I made then have a teacher take a nice shit on it cause it wasn't the color they would of used or it was to simplified or to busy.
I just got sick of it, I discovered Javascript and since then its been no looking back.

Yea and it goes both ways too. I paid $350.00 to have a logo made. I brought an example of what I wanted and they made it up in less than 5 min. with me sitting beside them. In less than 10 min. we touched it up and I agreed that was what I wanted. Ok we will send you the AI vector and you will be set. After 3 months and 20 phone calls, they finally email me the file. It is not what we did in the office. It wasn't even the same color. Then when I said this is not what we did and what we agreed on. They said changes are extra. What fucking changes? The changes they made to what we agreed on. Nobody can do a goddamn thing anymore it seems but half assed. Now I am stuck with a baby blue fucking H in a font that I have no fucking clue what it is.
It goes both ways. I got my ass burned paying a fair rate for a logo only to get ripped off and told to go fuck myself.

The computer (Ai, PS, ID, etc.) is great but I think it is much more important to work on your hands on drawing skills first.
The art college I'm attending is a 3-year bachelor's degree school. (8 hours a day 5 days a week 22 cred a semester)
The whole fisrt year of college is all about fine arts and working on your drawing skills. 2nd year we learned alot on the computer and 3rd year we really strive to perfect it.
I'm honestly not near as good as a few of the people in my school but I love to learn and really want to go somewhere with art and design (preferably in the moto industry if possible)

Yea that sounds like it would be pretty expensive then. Today was my first day of classes where we use computers. My first class is about Illustrator and I was like the only kid thats used it so hopefully I do good since I use it everyday. The other class is about Indesign, ive never used it but it looks like it will be a pretty good course.

I´ll hook you up with a kick ass logo for 10 000 dollars, you´ll get it designed, thought through to work for everything, like biz cards, letter heads etc. After approved logo you will get vectors, eps, psd and all that jazz. 50% paid in full before production start. The rest paid on delivery of approved logo. This is a deal, due to the weak dollar, with the current dollar value it should be at least 15 g´s
