Any idea of who "should" ride it? Canard maybe???

Whoever decides to run that number, better be wearing their big boy pants, that's all I gotta say.

People said the same thing about #2 and RV has had no problem making it look good.

Whoever gets the #4 is bad ass enough to earn a permanent # so I'm sure they won't have any problem making it look good.

Retire the # until someone breaks his records? Probably will not happen, so its safe.

That number is pretty heavy, a ride replacing the GOAT's number would not be an easy task for him.

Given enough time, fans will be going RC who?

Wilson could have taken it but decided to stick with 15. Big shoes to fill.

They did retire it until 2011, but RC is running it this summer...

I love RC, but hope for someone else to take the number soon.

I remember an interview where Dean said he wanted Mike Brown's number 3 - and Brown said he would be happy to give it to him, probably next year cuz he doesn't plan on trying to keep it any longer.

Dean wants #3 in honor of fellow Scotsman Jeff Ward.

Any rider with respect for the GOAT won't take it. No offense to any riders at the moment, but I don't think there is anyone worthy of it. Possibly Roczen if he comes in and wins the outdoors championship. Maybe SX, but early RC and supercross didn't go too well. Well, in comparrison to his outdoor career. Before a rider takes that number, they need to go 24-0 outdoors. That should be the genuine AMA rule over the number. (Forget JS's 24-0. Who cares about #7)

Roczen RC Jr. ? Running 70 in his first full AMA season. Can be out of control and dominant. FOX is all he'll wear (Obviously RC run AXO when they gave RC/ PC a $$$$$$$ fine when he wore anything but.) and I can see the guy really showing himself outdoors this year.
