that is awesome bud. i went back to a 125 this summer. pretty much like motokawi said, technique and cornders, and it will come. it takes a few months, at least it did in my case.

i did the whole 4 stroke 450 thing, then switched to the 250 two stroke about 3 years ago and now all the way down to the 125. i must say it is the most fun of all the bikes and i am just as competitive with her as long as i don't make any mistakes.

below is a video of my buddy chasing me on his 450. you'll have to click or copy/paste, i am not sure how to embed.

Sweet practice track bro. Is that one of your buddies place?
no just one of the few local pits that i can still ride at without the cop chasing me out

i bought the bike to flip because i got a great deal but it blew up after the second ride.i had to put a top end in it so i decide to make it a project and keep it. i have no regretes the bike is sick and so much fun. the 144 kit set up for top end, v force 3 reeds and an fmf fatty/ pro core 2 combo is all u need. would recommend it to anyone with a 125. it defiantly pulls way harder and much more response low thru top end. u don't have to work your clutch as much. i own a 2011 crf450r and I'm ridding a 02 yz 144. i no wtf! but is Light, fast, flickable, fun as hell and way cheeper than any four stroke u can buy.

can't beat it 10 day turn around. sent whole engine with a blow top end and got a 144 put together ready to install. port job looked good from what i could see. u can have the engine ported for low end (super cross) or top end (Motocross). choose of race or pump gas. and if u have any questions, Eric answer the phone himself every time i called. top notch service

That thing sounds like its running really good. You said you sent the whole engine, but did the 144 kit require case mods? I know the 05 and newer ones do but not about the older ones. I was thinking about doing this or a 139 to mine.

Every sandpit I see in Jersey seems pretty sweet, like the sandpit capitol of the US. Quick a few near me and I can tell you the sand is much deeper than Southwick having ridden both

yea the case needs to be mod thats why u have to send the whole engine . u can get the 133 kit and send just the cylinder. but just get the 144 and u won't be sorry
