Thanks a lot. That's, by far, the season that I really enjoyed the most.

It reminds me of Motocross Madness 2, too! :-)

DC doing the hot lap for the broadcasts is one of my favorite things about the broadcasts this year.

This was probably the day when the motocross world thought, "Oh shit, this kid's for real."

Beginning of an epic era.

Like what David said about RC getting angry that Tortelli was following him closely in the second moto and pinned all the way down the hill and all the way through the next corner - that broke Tortelli's resolve.

Thanks for posting this!

Strikes me that Ricky has so much leg strength, even here which is pre-Aldon if memory serves correctly. I was noticing that his swaps seem more like the bike is dancing around underneath him as opposed to others' that seem as if they are really having swaps combined with G-outs that collapse them back onto the seat. Ricky seems to stand up the whole way through a swap.

It's pretty damned audacious for him to take the measure of that loaded field at his age.

I'm pretty sure I had all the races blasted on the TV that year, but as someone else mentioned, I probably had the computer running playing MCM2 online lol.

If I remember the best was at Hangtown.I believe. There was a huge step up double that he had not jumped and DC lets I think Ping pull him over it to make it. You can hear how excited he is to make it. Very cool.
