I don't get Stewart, he knows well ahead of time that he's going to carry way more speed over the wall than Short, and still follows in the exact same line. Metty had far less time to react to Stewart tipping over and easily managed to get on the brakes and avoid him.

James is still making terrible decisions in traffic... It's like he doesn't even think when he's riding. Kinda reminds me of Houston last year. It's frustrating how he can be such a good rider but lack so much when it comes to racecraft.

Yeah when he landed on JT you can say what you like about JT screwing up, but there was two guys in front of him and he still pulled the trigger on that triple, it's like he doesn't get how fast he is and thinks it all has to happen now...

its almost as if his eyes are glued to the ground just past his front fender. same thing with the the JT incident last year.

Totally agree ... only been two rounds, so no reason to panic, but every time he starts moving forward, he makes a serious mistake. From his post race interviews, he seems a little shell shocked. Can't help but think fitness is the issue and his missteps are due to fatigue.

On TV it looked like there was a big groove in that wall and through the sand section, and everyone was going through it. Stewart obviously didn't think Short would slow down that much and hit him. Is that some kind of earth-shattering scandal?
