If stewart wins tonight, which I hope he does. I am curious to see how many times he thanks pirelli. Do you guys think he will make it a top priority after all this tire gate shit.

Not really? Reed (known for consistency) had as many get offs as RV did last year. Maybe even more.

Vilipoto and Dungey are both extremly good riders but somehow I don´t really care about them. The both have really boring personality´s. Both Reed and JS7 brings something more than just good riding.

I guess we got spoiled with great personalities back in the McGrath era (90´s)

If Stewart wins tonight ... I won't be surprised. Me thinks RV won't have such an easy time of it tonight

It all boils down to the start just like it always does. If James stars out front I think he stays out front.

I just want to see a battle for the lead... don't care if it's stewart, reed, canard, or RV (Dungey too, but he's on a KTM and there are whoops in Phoenix, so you know... Tongue ).

If JS wins, I just hope RV stays up, and has no mechanical failures.

But dudes, rather than hating one guy or the other guy, just relish in the moment that JS, TC and RV all go into one bowl turn at once on about the 19th lap. Regardless of who comes out on top, these are GOOD days.

I think some of you arent old enough to remember this:

McGrath holeshots by 4 bike lengths, followed by Emig. Mike Larocco gets a 9th place start, actually runs the fastest lap of the night, but gets 3rd. Damon Huffman is in the mix.

That was basically EVERY SX from January of 1993 to May of 1996. I have to say, the most exciting thing back then was Steel Roots.

I said some of you. and yes, there are a multitude of 19 yr olds running around here who only picked up SX in the RC JS era.

I remember 93-96. Only because I was held back in preschool three separate times.

Speaking of Reed, I think he might suprise everyone tonight. Gut feeling tells me he might be on top of the Podium tonight, but if that doesn't happen, It'll be either: Stewart/RV/Reed, or Stewart/Reed/RV on the podium; everyone else will be fighting for 4th place...
