Maybe everyone is pissed at lawrence because of how much we love this sport and how much we all bust our ass to be able to buy bikes, parts, clothes, trailers, vehicles, entry fees, etc. and this loser gets it all for free, gets paid big money, and doesnt appreciate it enough to lose it all.

Pull his salary, let him buy his own bikes, riding gear and parts, and pay for someone to work on his bikes and he might change his tune or show his real colors.

I bet he would drop the sport like a hot rock.

He is just like Bob Hannah

Bullshit he's nothing like Hannah, come back and say that when he is respected and has something besides a regional Championship.

How about this perpective -

Forget all about MX and SX and all they are, and think from the real world for a minute.

Dude is 21 and reportedly already has 2 DUI's on his record. He has now also apparently rolled a car while DUI, with friend(s) in the car , at an event which is the place of his employment in an area with lots of people around who could have ended up casualties in one extreme or another.

What would be the repercussions for the typical 21 year old in your neighbourhood from doing all that?

90 days county jail. 2 years probation. 2 years of weekly drug/alcohol tests. Not allowed to leave the state and 2 years of weekly 3hr mandatory "meetings".

Neighbor kid just did it. He is 22. Works at burger king part time. About the same as lawrence.

I have been in the sport for over 20 years.

Seen a ton come and go, many with more talent and a lot with better work ethics.

Let's compare notes in two years if you like.

Again, you can't go by real world punishments, he is famous. As a famous person, you get benefits. Athletes, Rock Stars, and Actor's have a different set of rules.

He doesn't have to worrry about alot of things you and I do, if we get in trouble.

Ok, I honestly dont know why everyone is saying all this crap about J-Law...Just like most of you people are saying...He is a kid just trying to have fun and ride his bike...he is 20 years old...All you haters are telling me that when you were 20, you werent or arent currently going out partying and drinking? like seriously...I have personally talked to him and he is one of the nicest, most down to earth guys you will ever meet. He laughs at how people talk about him because he knows how good he is.
Where were you guys when he won the sx title?

He is just like Bob Hannah. Hannah said it himself that the sport is getting so serious that its not even fun anymore.J-law brings humor and personality to the sport. Without him, the sport would be beyond boring. Another question....How do you guys know that all the other riders arent doing the stuff jlaw is doing?? YOU DONT!! So why give him crap? ITs because you are all jealous.
J-Law is strictly all talent. Have you all noticed once he started training hardcore, he has only gotten faster? He has always been fast, he has just been getting all the wrong recognition, and its all because of you idiots looking down on him because he is not "professional" enough for you. Yea he is going out there drinking before a race, but from what i know, it has never stopped him from racing or winning.

If you have the body like he does where you can get totally wasted the night before a race, and still go out to race AND WIN, then that is pretty damn amazing in my opinion.
You all just need to stop worrying about Jason's life and worry about your own..its really starting to get old and ANNOYING as hell.

Oh and for Villopoto and Dungey's little comments, they have no right whatsoever to be saying that about him. He has beaten both of them and doesnt need to prove himself more than once. They are beyond jealous because he can do something they cant.
Lastly, if he is such an embaressment to the sport, why is he winning titles? Like someone else said, have any of you been to Elsinore??? Dang, talk about an embaressment to the sport.......

If it were Carmicheal, Reed, STewart or any other pro rider, would you be talking shit on them to?

To all you haters, I just suggest you keep your mouths shut, and if you have a negative comment regarding someone else then keep it to yourself...Because no one cares.

JEALOUSY IS A DEADLY SICKNESS..GET WELL SOON HATERS...

History has a habit of following people for a long time. Good or bad, if it's repeated chances are change isn't going to happen.

JLaw has loads of talent, bad decision making skills and a big mouth. He does have the ability to get into the heads of his competition, if they let him. From what I can see, Dungey learned a valuable lesson over the past couple of seasons.

Time will tell, but I'd put my money on Dungey for the long haul. All the message board talk in one hand and you know what in the other gets you what??

We'll all see down the road.

Id' rather see them leave the talking to their on track performances.

ITs is however good to finally see Dungey speak his mind. As for him not being a trash talk guy, this is motocross and trash talking is OK

How old is Jlaw?

I have seen three ages posted for him on various boards? 19, 20 and 21....how old is he?

KayLa555 says he is 20...one board puts him at 19 being born in 1989 and 35smom say he is 21.

This post started about what RD said about JL in that one race. Lets look at what happened, RD tried to pass JL on the outside and he expected JL just to let him ride around him in a corner. I don't know about now but when I raced you wouldn't pass me on no damn outside line, without me trying to cut you off. Seemed to me to be just another racing incident

KayLa555, Hannah never partied before a race, he did drink at all. He may have joked around and played head games, but when it came to racing it was all business. You don't know shit.

yea im going just stick with letting it go....all im saying is that he is his own person, and nobody should be worrying about him but himself....you all make it seem like your his parents or something.. worry about your own lives and stop living by trash talking on someone else.its LAME.
i also wasnt sure about his age..i said 20 to estimate around where he was at.
and lastly, i have people in my family that have been in the sport way longer than 20 years and they have told me plenty of stories about bob hannah.and im not talking about being drunk before a race...im talking about how he brings personality to the sport. "RUBBIN IS RACING". He is a professional racer, and like someone said, they get away with a hell of a lot more than the average joe...

KayLa...personally, I find you annoying, arrogant and offensive. But, you haven't done anything that deserves censorship IMO (and I assume inn Gibby's).

So, your opinions are ok, but don't think for one second that anyone gives a fuck what you think about what we have to say on the interweb. Telling others what to do with their time? You are wasting your own time.

no kidding- surely this woman has something better to do than defending this kid all day long on a message board. It seems to be her entire reason for being here.
