At the end of the day, if someone wants to focus all their energy on being the best NOVICE, that's their choice.

What a fantastic achievement!
Well done on being the greatest learner rider, by the sounds of it you only have about 8 more classes to go before you can mix it up with the fast guys.

On the other hand you could just man up and ride the class that is just above your actual current ability, and by the end of the season you could be running up front.

My son raced against him last year in the novice class. He is totally untouchable by any novice around here. My son almost won the series but was taken out in the first turn of the last moto of the series (not whining just a reference that my sons not a back marker). The only reason anyone could win the series where Axel raced, is that Axel didn't race all the races. Having said that, I have no idea how fast other "novice" riders are at Loretta's. But at Pala or Perris, his speed is such that he could race expert and fit in. Story from other parents is that he is neighbors with Jeremy and trains with the King. At the DITD I saw him pitting under the TLD tent. Hmmm, apparently others are impressed by his talent also.

Nice job Axell and Congrats on the race/moto and series win.

Friendly suggestion: Keep your not so veiled innuendoes to yourself.
Not so friendly suggestion for the noob.....

I wondered how long it would take for a member of the Axell entourage to show up and defend their guy...

Looks like a fast C rider to me...about as fast as the local Houston C riders. Yep, they're fast. I don't see any reason why he would necessarily need to move up a class. Racing is like fighting...don't enter a fight you can't win, so why would you enter a race that is way over your head? That's just dumb.

Really? There are different levels of classes, depends where you live. Even between Northern and Southern California. If a Northern Cali guy was winning up here usually he would get smoked down South. Not always, but if there are more tracks and better weather year round that means more seat time. Which means that area of riders should be faster, right?

I do agree that sandbagging sucks, if your winning every race in a certain class then you should move up. But what happens when the level at Lorettas is higher and the kid would be getting beat in the novice class.

The sanctioning bodies(owners of tracks and promoters of races) are the ones to blame, they have the control to bump riders. Its nobodys fault if they like to win and keep doing it until someone says its time to move up.

This kid must love the attention, lmao.

Also i believe Mcgrath had Ryan Morias on his team when he was still intermidiate 125 rider. Actually wasnt officially part of the team because he was underaged due to Mcgraths team being sponsored by Budlight

All I can say is that racing in the Novice class all by yourself out front does nothing for improving your racing skills (passing, riding defensively, line selection and riding fast while going through the pack)... I always try and ride with better riders at the local track, learning from them and seeing how they approach sections of the track.

Also running 1:50 lap time at a track all by yourself is different from running a 1:50 lap time in traffic or while trying to over take someone when the main line is taken.

This boy has skill no doubt but if he wants MX to be a career he needs to be running the next class up, if he won the championship in the novice class in 2011 then step it up this year.

What he said^

Mate, these yanks have a strange system, seems they expect to get sponsorship dollars and support for winning the fucking novice class, are you serious?
I'm sure Aussie is similar to NZ in that you would not be seen dead in the novice class, it's basically full of total beginners who have only just learned how the gears work and munters on clapped out old KDX200's. There is absolutely nobody with Axell's skill anywhere near the novice class in NZ.
As far as I'm concerned, the novice class should be like that video that keeps getting posted on here titled "Brandon's first race", those are novice riders IMO.

To all the haters, you are the guys who will be paying to watch Axell race in a few years at A1 while bragging to your bros that you followed his career. So just shut the F*** up already!!! This kid did not create the system he is just going to steam roll thru it. 125 OUT!

This is just to funny..I agree staying in the class just will only help get wins not move up another level!!!!! I never stayed in a class I could just run away with I moved up. But heres the problem some of the parents out there are living thru the kids and it just doesn't make sense..I mean this kid probably has parents who just blow money thinking it will help there kid make it to sx hahaha all it does is make you look like a fool..let them be kids. I had dinner with some friends and this kid dont know his name went with us kid was around 13 maybe and he couldn't eat anything bad I mean thats good and all but by the time he makes it he will be burnt out...My parents never pushed me to do anything hard core I pushed myself and guess what I burnt out.. happens all the time why do you think people retire at 25 cause there burned out..

Hopefully he beat all the fucking 6 year olds by a minute back when he was 7 just like he smokes all the novices when he should be racing intermediate.

Best of luck in SX next year with Jeremy and Brooks next year.

Do you think we might be looking at a perfect season THIS year in the C class?

Hope I didn't jinx it for the GOATN!

You guys are all stupid as hell.
1. Axell doesn't train with MC
2. He only has one bike which he practices and races on.
3. His parents don't blow money on him. He gets sponsors cause he rides fast which most of you goons should try someday and stop complaining about some 15 year old.
4. He travels across the country to races in a 1985 Dodge Van loaded with one bike, one gear bag, him and his dad.
5. He doesn't spend 24/7 riding. He goes to school, lays bitches, and has a social life.
6. You all need to f**k off cause he races schoolboy now, so go find some other fast kid who you wish you were or want to be and bag on him.

DefconMedia IS DirtShark. Dirtshark is Axells brother. He may not train w/ MC but Phil is very good friends w/ MC. Axell is a good kid that happens to be pretty quick. Novice? Probably not but at his age it's a slippery slope, especially n SoCal.
