Totally off base? Are you blind? He rolled a damn car with a passenger in it because he's acting like an idiot. Isn't that enough for someone to step in and call him on it? You're expecting what? Just smile and say, "it's just kids having fun", until his (or worse yet, someone else's) luck runs out and he takes someone else out? Go after him only after he kills someone?

That guy is acting like a dangerous jerk and nothing more. If you don't think endangering another's life is deserving of criticism and punishment, then maybe you need to do some introspection.

35smom seems to be an enabler. I guess whatever JLaw wants, he's just a kid. I hope you don't take that attitude with your kid. If he acted like JLaw you should yank him off the bike. Of course, you are probably the mom that thinks their kids can do no wrong.

JLaw is a fuck up and he has been for a long time.
Haha....you dont know how wrong you are. Show me one post that I said it was okay? How do you know Jay...personally I guess since you know he has been a fuck up for awhile. Or just what you read on here? See I have stuck up for Alessi, Hill and many other riders on here because they ALL work hard and there is NO WAY you could even come close to that. And thats the problem here too much gossip and name calling. Its gotten so much worse lately.

I should have said comments like that (cause he was saying that in the pits LONG before he said it in public everyone heard him) what im saying is with all the crap that Jay and Dungey went thru during supercross and then their get together the first moto.....I think Dungey is on his mind alot. Thats all. And as for do it on the the track.....that leads back to where this started, the whining crap!!! Jays not looking for trouble on the track he just wants to win (like the rest) but hes not gonna take anyones crap either. Lets just hope for at least a few races where RV, Jay, Dungey Stroupe, Canard, Izzi and a few others are in the then top 10 battling. It would be awesome.

j-Law's not looking for trouble on the track? Holy shit are you blind of just dumb?

Last time he was not on probation, it was Hangtown last year and he was trying to slow down and cut Villopotto off during practice. Wake up women, the reason he kept low profile is because he was on probation.

As soon as the probation ended, he got drunk and caused even more trouble.

The punk is living off his talent alone and it won't cary him much farther if he doesn't wake up and behave like a 21 year old ADULT should. He's not a kid anymore, he's 21!!! On top of that he's a professional athlete!

No you are...I guess you skipped the previous turn when Villopoto cut the turn to hit him right?? or do you need to see the video again. Double standard here, its okay for other riders to say and do those things but not Jay. And DUDE this "women" knows more about this than you can imagine....dont even go there

Funny shit right there as the video only shows the last part of it.

I guess you don't remember that the video was in the 2nd practice (After J_Law messed with Ryan the whole first practice and Ryan ignore it) Then Mitch went to the AMA to warn them about it.

2nd practice started and J-Law went at it again and that's when Ryan had enough and gave it back at him (Which is the only part the video was showing)

You might think you know a lot but your judgement is questionable at best trying to defend such behavior.

You cannot compare the job of a professional athlete to that of a parts driver. What kind of person sees those two jobs on the same scale? The parts driver is easily replaced, how easy is it to replace a guy who can win races?

Actors, rockstars, and athletes are not held to the same accountability as a parts driver.

Yes, the athletes, rockstars, and actors should be held to a higher standard, fact is, they are not. So until that changes, quit with the comparisons between them and you.

Okay heres your lesson in being on a team...ready?

1. the team makes your decision where to race not you and what class

2. the team tells the rider do not get hurt in a race that has no bearing on a title. If you cannot be out front then dont worry, we NEED you for the MX outdoor season...

hows that?

Again maybe since you know more than YAMAHA you should be running their team

Doesn't look like either is important to him.. Sad.

Mine was that JLaw won't be around in 5 years. Not with the way he is going right now. He will have his license revoked if he doesn't watch it. I really cheered for the kid until I saw his horrible showing at Vegas.

His "Team" under contract "YOT" does not sponsor 450 riders.

Well, I think we all see how important the '08 MX season is for JLaw!

Maybe I should be running their team. That wouldn't be a bad gig. First thing I would do is hire riders with some heart and determination. I would stay away from the young kids that are fast but display a pattern of trouble and hire the ones that put their heart and soul on the line every time the gate drops. But that's just my opinion.

Oh, I have stuck up for a lot of riders. I even stuck up for JLaw last year and this year till Vegas. He had a great run in the first moto at Glen Helen. He may even win a race or two outdoors this year. But he is a punk and a dumbass. No one can argue that. And yes, my opinions are based on what I have read. There are people called journalist that report on events that occur and they all pretty much seem to say JLaw is a dumbass that is wasting his ability. I am not in the minority as you seem to be.

I am an Alessi fan because he busts his ass to go faster. He seems to have a solid work ethic and keeps his nose clean. I admire that in a rider. He did some stupid things in his career and those moments shouldn't define him because he seemed to work past it. Now, JLaw is in the midst of it. If he cleans his shit up, trains and races the way he should, then I will gladly change my view on him.

Oh my god! I was having a bad morning and I re-read most of my posts... Sorry, I was acting like an ass. All of these guys deserve so much respect for what they do and I do wish I would have been fast enough to make it... It just makes me sad to see someone who is so obviously fast not take a his career seriously. I know everyone talks about the bad more than the good (who's airfare is JLaw paying this year?). I didn't know Vegas was a team decision but it makes sense.

Dude I don't care what you drink. Having met Sammy Hagar a few times and having a Father in Law in the nightclub business, I have gotten some pretty cool shit from the Cabo people.
Plus, Sammy is client of the place my dad works at, so that's why it's on there.

It's all personal choice, so you like Don Julio, post a picture of it, I don't care.

Your going to need better bait than that, try casting again...

I agree with that to a point but he isn't 17 he's 21 and this has been going on for some time now.

He's been banned from many a local track , he's been arrested several times, had DUI's been in fights on and off the track.

Sure he could use some guidance I agree but at some point he needs to accept responsibility and knock all the bullshit off.

If I had a team and this was an issue for this long I can think of the change I would be making and hiring a baby sitter wouldn't be it.

You can't keep a job at the local dealership or even as a parts driver with this behavior why is it ok because you can ride a scooter fast ?
Sorry James Stewarts interview through me off and I thought he was only 17. But I needed help more at 21 than I did at 17.
Hell at 17 I was getting all A's at 21 I was just a drunk with a truck and a bike that went to college and didn't work to my potential.

I had a job that paid for gas and beer. Luckily in life you get a second chance and your whole career isn't defined off of your 20's.

I apologized for being a dick. Most of the guys out here could take a lesson from that. I still think JLaw is a tard. I still stand by what I said, I just thought I came across poorly.

It's pretty brave to talk shit to someone across the country though. Did you come up with that "jabajaw" all by yourself? Im impressed.

Get over myself? WTF?

I apologized for being a dick. Most of the guys out here could take a lesson from that. I still think JLaw is a tard. I still stand by what I said, I just thought I came across poorly.

It's pretty brave to talk shit to someone across the country though. Did you come up with that "jabajaw" all by yourself? Im impressed.
Boy, you got a set of tires on ya!

Seriously, I was joking around.

You better relax, before you blow a head gasket.

Its totally off base...CAUSE IT DIDNT HAPPEN!!!!!! Anyone who has any kind of accident knows the "what ifs".
You guys have "called" him on it a thousand times over. If he doesnt learn from it then its his problem. Josh Hill knew who he was hanging with...just like our kids do. He could have said no, i'll pass but he didnt.
Critisize away but over and over is just listening to yourself talk...
Didn't stop Hulk Hogan's kid from going to Jail. The kid with him was 24 and Hogan's alcohol content was half the legal limit for a 21 year old ,which he was not. It's possible that the passenger bought the alcohol yet this Hogan kid is doing time for spinning a car into a pole.My point is,I'm glad Hill and J-Law weren't hurt ,but this should be a wakeup call.......as should have the other DUI,the fight in Daytona, the getting suspended from 338,the fight at Perris, the suspension at Sacramento where, yes RV pushed him wide before their ultimate confrontation and J-law had STARTED the whole thing by jumping behind and in front of RV all practice brake checking and as usual STARTING the shit.I love his skill on a bike, but I'm afraid maybe his common sense elevator doesn't go to the top floor.

Ok, I honestly dont know why everyone is saying all this crap about J-Law...Just like most of you people are saying...He is a kid just trying to have fun and ride his bike...he is 20 years old...All you haters are telling me that when you were 20, you werent or arent currently going out partying and drinking? like seriously...I have personally talked to him and he is one of the nicest, most down to earth guys you will ever meet. He laughs at how people talk about him because he knows how good he is.
Where were you guys when he won the sx title?

He is just like Bob Hannah. Hannah said it himself that the sport is getting so serious that its not even fun anymore.J-law brings humor and personality to the sport. Without him, the sport would be beyond boring. Another question....How do you guys know that all the other riders arent doing the stuff jlaw is doing?? YOU DONT!! So why give him crap? ITs because you are all jealous.
J-Law is strictly all talent. Have you all noticed once he started training hardcore, he has only gotten faster? He has always been fast, he has just been getting all the wrong recognition, and its all because of you idiots looking down on him because he is not "professional" enough for you. Yea he is going out there drinking before a race, but from what i know, it has never stopped him from racing or winning.

If you have the body like he does where you can get totally wasted the night before a race, and still go out to race AND WIN, then that is pretty damn amazing in my opinion.
You all just need to stop worrying about Jason's life and worry about your own..its really starting to get old and ANNOYING as hell.

Oh and for Villopoto and Dungey's little comments, they have no right whatsoever to be saying that about him. He has beaten both of them and doesnt need to prove himself more than once. They are beyond jealous because he can do something they cant.
Lastly, if he is such an embaressment to the sport, why is he winning titles? Like someone else said, have any of you been to Elsinore??? Dang, talk about an embaressment to the sport.......

If it were Carmicheal, Reed, STewart or any other pro rider, would you be talking shit on them to?

To all you haters, I just suggest you keep your mouths shut, and if you have a negative comment regarding someone else then keep it to yourself...Because no one cares.

JEALOUSY IS A DEADLY SICKNESS..GET WELL SOON HATERS...
