Is there an insurance angle that could be played here maybe? Other than that, I dont get it. Not saying it aint true, weirder shit has happened.
But it seems odd. And the last thing this incident needs.
First the Andrew Short/KTM injury and subsequent speculation, and now this?
But I sure as hell would love to see KTM field a factory two stroke indoors. It would stand a chance pretty much everywhere but Sam Boyd on that greased polished cement track. nothing but respect to anyone who has every taken a digger on that shit, i'd rather fall in the parking lot.

Now what are the chances that he would do that twice, in the same place, Friday, and then on Sunday??? I dunno, you decide! ha ha
Like somebody else said, I think this will help Musquin concentrate better, not haveing Ken to race against. I really think Marvin can be competing for wins a few races in.

Marvin Musquin:
[ I'm not sure if he uses the word "bosse" to mean whoop or jump. I used "bump" in the translation.]
The KTM track was just rebuilt. We rode it for the first time today. We wanted to do a race day simulation with practice, quali, and main. Roczen took off like a bat out of hell in front of me. On the 5th or 6th lap he did a triple-triple on a tricky section. The take off is on a big but fairly flat bump. The second bump is big, followed by a smaller one. He got screwed because he didn't want to go long since the bump that follows the triple is not easy to take. He didn't put enough gas and cased it. The frame touched the top of the bump
Off to the hospital.
At this speed there is not much forgiveness. He went over the bike. Apparently he was in a lot of pain. Not easy to find a doctor the day after Christmas. Everything was closed. But KTM has some resources. At the hospital they operated right away. He is home tonight. It sucks for KTM because the entire team was working very hard for us.
That said, he also fell with the 350 at the Elsinore track last Friday. This proves that even the best make mistakes.
His injury doesn't change anything for me. I'll be at the starting line at Anaheim with the same motivation.
