Roczen riding East...no choice now...

What would be the motive for a cover up?

Is there an insurance angle that could be played here maybe? Other than that, I dont get it. Not saying it aint true, weirder shit has happened.

But it seems odd. And the last thing this incident needs.

First the Andrew Short/KTM injury and subsequent speculation, and now this?

I was just making light of all the Andrew short conspiracy theories that were floating around a couple months ago. There are no conspiracies here. Kid just ate shit riding his dirtchopper, nothing more, nothing less.

But I sure as hell would love to see KTM field a factory two stroke indoors. It would stand a chance pretty much everywhere but Sam Boyd on that greased polished cement track. nothing but respect to anyone who has every taken a digger on that shit, i'd rather fall in the parking lot.

Barcia is not someone I would want to be racing with coming off a broke arm...

He was asked about his crash at Elsie on twitt and he said:

"kinda quading in the whoops and my hand came off the bars when i landed. a little short but not to bad acsually. luckyly all good"

I doubt they would go as far as hiding it all weekend, but you never know.

The kid must be tougher than beef jerky because he really blew up in the dirt. He was in serious pain holding his left arm when he was leaning against the fence.
Just to add to it, not only was he holding his left arm, but it was his left wrist that seemed to be hurting the most.

Now what are the chances that he would do that twice, in the same place, Friday, and then on Sunday??? I dunno, you decide! ha ha

Well, him and Wilson were drinking, smoking, doing blow, crack and weed and then they decided to play dare who can brake his arm the worst. Roczen won again.
All of this did take place in a strip club as well, with an exotic animal trafficking organization headquartered in the back, which WIlson and Roczen were both heavily affiliated with. Kids these days...

Well I'll be damned! Its really no wonder the kid crashed if he spends his spare time smoking dope in SoCal strip joints with Amazonian Sloth's and Dean Wilson.

This really sucks, the west was looking really competitive. As long as Roczen can be race ready by the first East round (which it sounds like he will), i don't see a reason why he can't contend for that title. Barcia's going to be tough to beat though, as will Wilson if he races that coast. As far I'm aware, this is the first injury of Roczen's pro career, as long this doesn't kickstart a bunch of them, I can see him having a long and successful future Cool

I did a distal radius just like that. 8 weeks later I was back on the bike. I've seen guys do it in 6. The worst part for me was dealing with the atrophy and stiffness in my elbow because I had to wear a full-arm cast for the first 6 weeks. That and getting the strength and range of motion back in the wrist.
Looks like the x-ray of my broken arm too. Full arm cast for 2 weeks and a forearm cast for another 4. My arm shrunk up and it took probably 3 months to get my strength back to normal. I was lucky the peices stayed in place and i did not have to have pins placed.

Like somebody else said, I think this will help Musquin concentrate better, not haveing Ken to race against. I really think Marvin can be competing for wins a few races in.

LeBig has an interview of Marvin where he explains how Roczen ate it:
http://www.lebigusa.com/interviews/roczen-blesse-la-reaction-de-musquin.html

Marvin Musquin:

[ I'm not sure if he uses the word "bosse" to mean whoop or jump. I used "bump" in the translation.]
The KTM track was just rebuilt. We rode it for the first time today. We wanted to do a race day simulation with practice, quali, and main. Roczen took off like a bat out of hell in front of me. On the 5th or 6th lap he did a triple-triple on a tricky section. The take off is on a big but fairly flat bump. The second bump is big, followed by a smaller one. He got screwed because he didn't want to go long since the bump that follows the triple is not easy to take. He didn't put enough gas and cased it. The frame touched the top of the bump

Off to the hospital.

At this speed there is not much forgiveness. He went over the bike. Apparently he was in a lot of pain. Not easy to find a doctor the day after Christmas. Everything was closed. But KTM has some resources. At the hospital they operated right away. He is home tonight. It sucks for KTM because the entire team was working very hard for us.
That said, he also fell with the 350 at the Elsinore track last Friday. This proves that even the best make mistakes.
His injury doesn't change anything for me. I'll be at the starting line at Anaheim with the same motivation.
