Pit Row
I started riding in '05, my first bike was a 2003 KX125. Since then I've had a '06 CRF250 (my favorite bike yet), a '08 CRF450, a '08RMZ250, a '09CRF450, and a 2010 KX250F. The one 2-stroke I've owned came NO WHERE close to ANY of the other bikes I've owned. I've ridden newer 2 strokes and I feel the same way about those bikes. To me, 2 strokes have a purpose, namely woods riding and hare scrambles, but on an MX track they are clearly inferior. As a guy that came into the sport near the turnover to majority 4 strokes, I don't get all the fighting, pissing and moaning about 2 stroke vs 4 stroke. (And I will say most of it comes from 2 strokers hating on 4 strokes.) But hey, ride whatever the hell you want to ride and have the most fun you personally can have, whatever bike it's on. I'm all for that! But can someone please give me a reasonable explanation of why all the bitching and why 2 stroke guys are so bitter???!!! This isn't skate boards vs roller blades. I don't get it, please enlighten me....
Oh, and sorry for turning this thread into yet ANOTHER 2 stroke vs 4 stroke thread but I've been wanting to ask this for a while.
FWIW, I don't really like the graphics that the PC team has been running, especially this example in the OPs post.
My favorites were from about 94-2004, the best being the year with the chrome front fender... I also like the very first year when they went to the Kawasakis, the year with the white radiator shrouds and the hotwheels logo.
I cant see Broc challenging for race wins but I see him and hanny battling hard for top 10s
